Central position, just under the Torre dos Clerigos. Cramped but somewhat elegantly decorated reception with no room to sit. Clean single room, but very small. Bathroom just outside, not very clean, wouldn't shower in it. Half of the staff is rude (the young girl), the other half (older man & lady) is very kind but too lazy to help. I... More

My boyfriend and me could not agree on a common opinion. From my point of view everything was quite ok. The imperfectness of the room seemed me to be even charming. The only drawback was the complete indifference of the team. My boyfriend did absolutely not feel welcome. He considers the room as far too small for the four beds... More

We slept in this hotel for 5 nights, is very cheap and the position is very good for visiting the city, but these are the only two positive sides. The rooms are small, not so clean and during the night you hear the noise of the air conditioning outside. The toilets in common are small, old and quite bad, not... More

I slept in this hotel for a single night (luckily) as it was a horrible experience. The room was extremely small, my luggage and me basically covered all the space. The room wasn't very clean, and the toilet was quite bad as well. The staff wasn't very welcoming and they didn't speak very good English. My room was ridiculously hot,... More

My first impression on arriving at the location wasn't very good, its off the main street down a small street that was torn up. But I realized soon that they were installing new cobblestones and when done it will be nice. The hotel itself is small and the rooms smaller. We had a triple and it was a a double... More

The position is really good, very close to the "Torre do Clerigos". Very clean: We spent in the hotel 3 nights, and every morning towels and sheets were changed. But the rooms are really small, no space for a big bag. In the bathroom there is no space for moving, and the wall in the shower were "falling down" during... More

This place is great for a long weekend. The rooms are very cheap, and the location could not be anymore perfect, being 2 minutes walk from Aliados square and Sao Bento train station along with the main nightlife in Porto. The rooms are basic but perfectly fine, and the staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend it.

If you are looking for a sophisticated (or at least interesting) place to stay should definitely not go to this hotel. But the location is perfect and totally worth the price you pay. It's very close to most historical attractions and nightclubs. Although small and simple, the rooms are clean and pleasant.

The only thing going for this hotel is the location, despite being on a small dark street. It's 5 minutes from the main plaza, the Sao Bento metro stop and Sao Bento train station (with connections to Campana for rest of portugal). It's about 15-20 walk to the Ribeiro. The room was clean but small. The washroom was a tight... More

The stunning price of 12 EUR tempted us. What you get for that? A double room with a spacious bed and not much space around, but this was not that important. It is centrally located in a nice neighbourhood, extremely close to the Portuguese Center for Photography as well as all the nice places in the upper part of the... More
