Do not hesitate if you discover this hotel and just book it. The architecture is overwelming and In my opinion the nicest place in Porto. If you are looking for things to do/going out for dinner just ask Tito and your day/evening will be a succes.

Fantastic place to stay. Well designed and chic. On a non descript street but no so far from main sights around porto. Great hosts. Amazingly comfortable beds and linens. Stay here if you want to experience the uber cool design in a totally unique one of a kind hotel.
Casa do Conto is both an amazing architectural statement as well as a comfortable B & B. It's an older building that has been restored with great thought and care. The architect clearly was riffing on Casa da Musica (http://www.casadamusica.com/) in her design.
This was the most interesting and unusual place we stayed during our two-week trip to Portugal in...

Good and very new hotel, 6 suits in the remodeled building that had another hotel that burned down a while back. People workig there are great, very nice breakfast, almost no amentities, as you would expect fomr B&B, location is a bit of center, about 4-5 euro cab ride, don't take a room overlooking the street - too noisy.
Worth a trip to Porto just to stay at this fabulous property!! It couldn't possibly have been a better experience. Tito, our host, was extremely accommodating and gracious. The design is truly unique. The bed was extremely comfortable - we slept very, very well. Even in the POURING rain, it was a lovely stay and a great experience. We highly...

Poetry as background, comfort, design and nice people. Me and my wife stayed in Casa do Conto for 2 nights. She had to work in the city center during those days and stayed in the hotel both days, also working. The architecture is amazing, design is everywhere, the rooms are extremely comfortable, including the bed (we asked beforehand a double,...

We stayed at the Casa do Conto over Easter. A beautiful building that has been designed with great style and care. It was great to discover it was nearer to the metro station that we had thought which was great after a tiring day sightseeing and the thought of scaling another hill was too much. It is also on the...

Casa do Conto is a beautiful building and it has been restored with love and care. The design is amazing and the rooms are stylish but comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable! We were disappointed with the balcony in our room as we imagined it would be an actual balcony that we could sit on and enjoy a glass of...

We stayed there for three nights. The view over the city and the backyard from the top room suite NG is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. A nice lady makes fresh pancakes for you and as she realised, that I had my birthday, she went in the kitchen and made a birthdaycake for me. The staff at the house helped us...

Casa do Conto is not just an architectural showcase, but also a very pleasant base from which to savor the charm of Oporto. Tito, the hotel manager, brings in a personal touch, setting this hotel apart from many design boutique hotels where indifference is alas the norm. Don't skip the breakfast, its is simple and delicious!
