At first we were given a room with no toiletries and no kettle (as discribed) and a room itself was big disappointment, but staff was so kind and gave as much better room and charged only 20 Eur extra. Still there was poor lightning for reading and walls were really thin. Breakfast included only basics... Not the best location and... More

Stayed at the Hotel and the staff is nice and attentive, rooms are great and breakfast delicious. Seems that you are at home. It is near Casa da Música and of downtown. Great deal at an affordable price.

My husband and I stayed here with our 18 month old daughter. We chose the family room, which, was HUGE - given the age of the building. There was a separate seating area from the common sleeping area. There was a full bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price. It was typical continental breakfast faire (bread, pastries, meats, cheese, butter,... More

Our reservation at the neighboring Alvares Cabral was lost so we were booked, first at the Mira D'aire, then at the Brasilia. The room was clean, bed was good, and bath was modern. Breakfast was European and good. At 55 euros in August such a deal.

Stayed here alone for 4 nights and found this to be a great, inexpensive get away! Hotel is very old and traditional, big deep baths and sparkling clean rooms. Hotel staff are very friendly, and although speak little English (hey, you ARE in Portugal!), I found I could get by ok with just a few words of Portuguese. The enthusiasm... More

Well, me and my boyfriend came to Porto on a busy Saturday without ant reservations, so we had to go through about 15 locations until we found hotel Brasilia. The location is close to the center and for 5 euros they offer parking in an inner yard with a locked door only 15m away. The staff is very friendly -... More

I came here with my mother and sister, who were in need of a little r and r, so I thought I'd pay a little more for a nice, comfortable stay. The room has pretty furniture, but that's about it. It has a musty/old air about it and the bathroom hadn't been renovated since maybe the 1960s? (example: I had... More

Efficient and professional staff (though no one speaks English), nice and cozy room, lovely dining room and lovely breakfast. Oh, and some impressive thingy in the shower room to adjust the light and to listen to music while taking a shower! I have just come back from a lovely 4-day trip to Portugal. I had initially booked a room in... More

The hotel lived upto all the previous positive reviews!!! Our room was clean and spacious, with an attached lounge and bathroom. The high ceiling, antique furniture and quaint bedside lamps all added to the comfortable and cosy setting. The room & bathroom was cleaned everyday and the linen was changed. The room was equipped with a TV, fridge and kettle... More

I highly recommend Hotel Residencial Brasilia. The staff is extremenly nice and professional. The hotel is well located in a relatively calm area 5 min away from the center. The rooms are clean and well equipped. We're already planning to go back there. Great experience!
