We were slightly shocked on our first evening in the restaurant, which runs a buffet style set meal, to be overlooking lean-to corrugated roof structures. Great hotel on a nice location: walking distance is some 15 minutes from the city centre. Breakfast was nice and big, with a great service. Small garage may be a problem, but there is other parking place near the hotel. Overall, would stay here again. more

The hotel was fairly easy to find, a metro station being a couple of minutes away. I booked three nights in October at the Vila Gale in Oporto, as they had the cheapest rate compared to similar hotels during this time-frame.
