This guesthouse is within walking distance of central Porto and many of the sights. The rooms are adequate but have a small shower and bathroom. The rooms contain a small refrigerator and microwave oven and the beds are very comfortable and large. There is excellent internet access. We had some problems with the lights and heat but the these were... More

An interesting boutique guesthouse in the old part of Porto. The host, Sara, greeted me with a glass of port and sweet biscuits. Later she provided me with detailed and accurate suggestions of where to eat locally and what to visit in Porto. Although I was a single traveller my room was one large bedroom in the Miró apartment. The... More

My wife and I enjoyed our short stay in Porto at the Cosme Guesthouse. I thought the room was excellent and clean. The location was good. The breakfast was a nice assortment of local cheeses, breads, yogurts, chocolates, plus coffee and fresh juice. Since we had never been to Porto before, we got a little lost finding the guesthouse but... More

After finding Cosme guesthouse, the host, Bruno, offered my group of three couples a delicious glass of port. He helped bring the luggage to our rooms - the Marilyn, the Kandinsky and the Nita. Each was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated according to the room names. Ours had a huge portrait of Marilyn Monroe over the bed which was exceedingly... More

We were welcomed like good friends with a drink and biscuits. Our charming host, Sara, showed us on the map what we could do in 2 days and also gave us restaurant tips. The rooms are all names of artists, ours was Kandinsky. The hotel is tastefully decorated with art objects and pictures everywhere. The rooms are fine, also the... More

On a side street, up a set of steps, to a door. A HUGE door. The door opens and you walk into a little artistic gem of a guesthouse. Sit in the first floor living / dining / reading area and enjoy a beer. or one of the many books on art and architecture. In Portuguese of course. ;-) My... More

We received a warm welcome from Bruno who encouraged us to chill out with a drink and tasty treats before showing us things to see and do in Porto. We stayed in the Kandinsky room which was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. Free wi-fi in the room, A/C, fridge and hair dyer were all amenities that made our stay even... More

George is fantastic. We were warmly greeted with some port and a map with so many personal suggestions for eating and sight seeing. Sergio and Bruno were very helpful, in fact the entire staff was kind and warm and willing to go the extra mile. The set up is great - very boutique. It's in a quieter part of town... More

Cosme is located quite close to the historic area of Porto and as such was a great choice to stay in Porto. It has a very urban chic feel to it - from the breakfast area to the spacious rooms. The original elements in the building (stone walls) and the modern features come together beautifully, to offer a comfort and... More
