This small pension is ideally located in walking distance of the main Porto historic sights, and 5 minutes from the main station. This makes it a great base if you want to travel around a bit. The people running it are very friendly, helpful and cheerful, we had a laugh and a joke despite my not speaking Portugeuse. Yes it's... More

The room was clean but there was some strange hospital smell in the halls.... Rooms were quite average, but sufficient. As we had ensuite with private bathroom, we were surprised how clean it was. Room was equipped with an A/C. The most annoying thing was that every time you want to leave or come back you have to be buzzed... More

While reception is opened 24h, you need to get buzzed in and buzzed out which caused some confusion when the group got split and we went back separately to the hotel. As the staff speak no English, there was a bit of confusion and long story short, some of us weren't allowed into our own rooms, with a threat from... More

Me and my wife wanted a hotel with reasonable price in centre of Porto and we got it. As 80% of portuguese people get their vacations in August, house was full. We booked 6 weeks in advance and got the last room. We paid only 70 for 2 nights when left, they prefer cash. People in reception do not speak... More

Exactly centrally located near the city hall, it is convenient to reach everywhere in the city. It was surprising that the room was made everyday. The room has a small balcony, an electric heater, a TV and a bathroom with bath tube, which was very useful when I got a cold. Wifi was a bit poor in the room. The... More

Perfect location in the heart of the nice Porto, just next to the Town Hall, all the sights are 1-12 minutes away. (up and down streets) Booked a silent double with free garage place (offer, otherwise 10 Eu/day). Parking is very challenging on the streets, the garage parking is a big plus. On arrival we got a tiny, approx 4... More

I like this hotel. The furniture is old, but it gives a special touch, the staff don't know english, but they will explane everything with a smile. The location is very god,a minute from a main square and 10 min walking from Ribiera, promenade by the river. I recommend. :)

I came across this family-run hostel on the internet, guided mostly by the low price. The room was basic and a bit old-fashioned but very clean and quiet, with an en-suite bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the sheets always fresh. Although there were three of us, we were not charged extra for the child or his breakfast. Even though... More
