This guesthouse has great value, service and location. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. It is close (10-15 minute walk) to Ribera and other attractions in the city. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and Mariana was extremely welcoming, thoughtful and helpful during our stay. She gave us great advice on Porto and... More

Mariana ensured we felt welcome in the first minute of our arrival. During our stay both Mariana and her staff have been more than friendly and helpfull to ensure we would have a great time in Porto. An excellent example is the effort Mariana did for us when we were looking for a restaurant in the Christmas period. She called... More

From the warm email correspondence during our booking, to the welcome glass of port by the fire, to all the staff constantly offering advice and assistance, this is one of the best run hotels we have visited in Portugal. Our room was large and comfortable and the breakfasts delicious and plentiful. Thank you Mariana, we will be back.

Wonderful guesthouse. The staff went out of their to ensure all our needs were met. From the homemade breakfast to helping plan our days, we couldn't have asked for more. We stayed in room 4 which was large, fantastic high ceilings and beautiful high windows that fully opened to the street front. I am a light sleeper but didn't need... More

Stayed here twice in October 2014, and found everything to be perfect. Incredibly warm welcome, including a glass of port, every possible help for our stay from concert tickets to taxi bookings, from directions to restaurant recommendations. Not only Mariana, but also her 2 staff, were upbeat, helpful, polite. The breakfast was excellent with home made jams and cake, and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our 2 week trip in Europe. This place is a beautiful restored old building by Marianna and her husband. Our room was big and had nice floor to ceiling windows. The rooms are done simply and without a bunch of clutter which we appreciate. It was clean with modern touches... More

Fantastic accommodation right in the heart of evocative porto, your host marrianne simply cannot do enough to make your stay a unique and memorable one. The double rooms are spotlessly clean, the breakfast is a joy of homemade freshly cooked delights. In short It's a must stay guest house when visiting the city

We returned to Porto for a third visit this autumn and didn't even look at anywhere other than 6Only for a place to stay. It's comfortable and quiet - specially if you go for a room at the back. The rooms are stylish and the service is impeccably polite and helpful. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and you... More

Thank you Mariana for your amazing hospitality. Myself and my mom stayed at 6Only Guesthouse for 3 nights in early October. We had an amazing stay. The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The guesthouse was easy to locate and about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. Pay attention to the blue door and you'll... More

Thanks to Mariana our stay in Porto was a treat. We felt like guests in her own home and she gave us outstanding recommendations for places to eat and drink in the neighbourhood and down by the river - the restaurant she booked for us on our last evening was magic. Mariana provided us with maps, and her recommendations for... More
