If you are planning a visit to Porto then I recommend this guest house. As soon as you arrive at the front door you are made to feel welcome. Finding the guest house is made easy due to directions being provided in advance. It is within walking distance to the major city sites and river, as well as the metro... More

Not sure why I booked the 'economy room'. Must be cos it was the only one left then. Room (sleeps 3) was in basement facing the road. It was almost as tho you were sleeping next to the car tires on a very busy road. Hence noisy. Luckily people and cars in Porto wake up late (& sleep late too),... More

Our room faces the back garden on the second floor and we love it because it is quiet. I love the tall ceilings that gives great ventilation from the window that opens to the backyard. The room has charming touches such as the framed tiles and stamps and very clean. Most importantly, the host is so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating... More

We stayed at the guest house for two days during our trip in Portugal and were thoroughly impressed. The service was superb, the room spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast served in the garden was simply excellent. The guest house is very conveniently located, just a short walk from the main attractions and a 5-minute walk from Trinidade station.... More

Stayed in 2nd floor street facing room, which had two twin beds side by side in the middle of the room and some additional furniture. The room was clean, as was the shared bathroom. The whole building was very secure and the staff is a family that made us feel very welcome and gave us great directions around the city.

We stayed in the economy room, which was in the basement! However, it has windows and the room itself actually looks pretty nice! Since it's next to a crowded street, it can get a bit noisy at night, but nothing you can't live with. Everything is extremely clean and for what you pay, it's definitely worth it. If you have... I was really impressed with this Guest house. All stuff was really friendly and nice all time and they were really carry about our time in Portugal, always asking if we needed help. The breakfast in there is really good, really fresh and nice breads. So sorry that I just ordered it once. I love old buildings and this one... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Location: It is centrally located with a 10 min walk to the historic centre and close to metro stations Trinidade and Lapa, therefore connected to all major metro lines. We came to Porto by train and getting to the hotel by metro was quick and convenient. It is easy to find. There... More

We were thrilled with our visit. The owner was very friendly when we arrived, and had the kids pin a map where they were born. The price was right. After we checked in, he sat down with us over some simple but tasty appetizers and a glass of wine and went over some local foods, sights, and oriented us to... More
