The friendliness of the staff didn't compensate for the dirt and discomfort of this place. Nothing worked, from the plumbing to the internet. I had a stiff neck from the lumpy pillows. The bathroom door wouldn't stay open and the door to the hall wouldn't stay shut! The only positive I can think of is the location.

Accepted dogs so we booked and whaat a nice surprise when we arrived. Friendly staff, clean rooms and the locality is great.
This is a simple pension but offers so much warmth that if I ever return to Porto I would not hesitate in staying there again.
