This is a 4 star hotel located between the airport and the city center of Porto. It is conveniently situated near university premises.

The Hotel is new, its design and interior are funky. Check in went seamless, rooms are clean, service is friendly. There is wifi internet (1 hour per day free), a fine lounge, and a spa.

The room is really great, very modern design, funky, nice balcony.

Three things that struck me: the location is odd, it is in a suburb in a relatively poor area. however, university college's are close by. given that I attended a conference at the uni, I could live with the location.

The other thing is that the concierge sent us to a restaurant that was closed. This was a bummer, as there are very few restaurants close by.

Lastly: the spa is great! It has massage rooms, a Turkish bad and a sauna. Very modern. But .. in many southern European countries it is common use to wear a cap, for hygienic reasons. Seeing scantily... more
