From Salamanca in Spain, we left Spain temporarily and drove to Porto in Portugal. Our plan was to spend a total of three days in Portugal and then drive back to Spain. We spent one night in Resid B & B and Parking in Porto which is the second biggest city in Portugal. Resid B&B is a small hotel just... More

A little out of the way, but a nice walk from Marques station, maybe 10 minutes. The hotel is safe and quiet with lovely rooms - it is like staying in my grandmothers home. The staff is warm and very helpful. Clean, bright and warm, a wonderful place to stay.

A little away from Porto centra but a lovely 15 minute walk helped us get to know the city during our short stay. On the first night were were greeted with a present of little cakes and 20yr old port for our room and the concierge invited us to a concert in a beautiful cathedral. Lovely choir and orchestra performed... More

We stayed here 5 nights after arriving for our first visit to Portugal (and Porto). The location, a bit away from the bustle of downtown but close to the bus and subway and only a 20 minute walk to downtown, is quiet but convenient. We received a lot of useful advice of places to visit and routes to follow. And... More

Residencia LIS is super friendly. If you're looking for 5 stars and luxury, this isn't the place to go. If you're on a budget, but you're still looking for a squeaky clean and super friendly accomodation, this is the place to go. Everyone is super welcoming and helpful, you'll get a map with everything to see in Porto. We had... More

My Husband and I have just returned from beautiful Porto where we stayed at Residencia LIS on the first floor, Room 105. Every positive thing said about Residencia and especially Auguste is true. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Porto is absolutely stunning..... would have no hesitation returning to both. Thank you Auguste!

I stayed one night in room 205 which is very nice solo but maybe a bit cramped for two people - either way it has a great feel to it with direct access to the balcony and garden down below. On my return I stayed in 204 and that was ok though less appealing, a bit morbid .. both rooms... More

I stayed on the second floor in #205. I was very surprised at the size of the room. The foyer adds a nice dimension to the room. The bathroom was spacious and had the best shower I've had in Portugal. The creaky floors weren't an issue for me - not sure about those below me. The most gracious owner provided... More

We arrived to a wonderful welcome of warm ginger cake served with generous glasses of port wine. Our host was more informative than any tourist information centre and his guidance ensured we made the most of of our 2 days in Porto. I still can't believe how much we managed to fit in! The accommodation was basic, spacious, comfortable and... More

We stayed in the second floor triple. Feels like you are going back in time with creaky floors and very simple appointments in the room. I felt like I was staying in someone's old family home. Very professional owner who provided us with great suggestions for getting to know Porto. Best for those who want to be out and about... More
