The stay at this hotel was very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is far from the centre of Porto, but for the price what we paid its worth the service. It is better if you have a car then would make sense to stay here...

Budget hotel far from city centre, no breakfast served but many bakeries around who serve excellent breakfast. Old outdated accomodation, but you don't pay the highest price after all. Would not recommend it for families. But ok if you do not set high standards.

Where to start such a welcoming, friendly & warm guesthouse. The manager can not do enough for you and his hospitality was the best we have ever experienced!! A weeks stay for under £200 and the location is great with a bus stop just outside which gets you to the main square in 5 mins. Metro stop is only 10... More

The hotel was a nice surprise considering the price I've paid. Very cheap, quite close to metro (10 minutes walk) and bus (1 minute walk), very nice people working there with a familiar atmosphere, rooms were always very clean including new towels and sheets every single day, safe place. The only thing I believe can cause you unease is the... More

The location is good, easy to find, parking just opposite the hotel. Parking cost approx. 6 euros per day. When you park in the garage, show them the booking confirmation and you will get a discount. Very nice and friendly staff, he showed us the room and the equipment.

Ok, there's no lift but there are only 2floor so it's not so bad. The room was not so big but with a habitable bathroom. Really very clean and there was every day someone who cleaned the room and order all the staff. Position is quite good cause by foot you can arrive to the centre in 15min by walk... More

-The location is not great. The bus comes frequently to take you on the few minute drive to the centre...metro is almost 10 minute walk away, but centre is only 20 minutes walk (i.e. May as well walk or bus it if going to centre). -The owner is very friendly and sweet, though he is abit hard to understand since... The R S da Nave is not the most attractive Hotel from the outside, but once through the glass doors, it is mahogany wood, ceramics and very warm on hospitality. Our room was clean and had plenty of wardrobe space and a fridge. The view from the rear windows was nothing to write home about, and the en suite bathroom was... More

Joao (John) is extremely friendly and helpful. Accomodations are not fancy but are clean, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, with a duvet cover. The bathroom had a powerful fan, which kept it dry. The room opened into a courtyard. Highly recommended.

Arriving after dark this little hotel looked less than attractive from the outside but once through the doors the hospitality was faultless. Our room (number 13!) was spacious and clean with a very useful fridge and a bright bathroom with a huge shower. Plentiful hot water, clean towels and a comfortable bed. The owner was very helpful and although the... More
