Although this was the first night of our tour of Northern Portugal it was no doubt the highlight. The hotel and staff were all very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. The fact that the harvest was in only added to the occasion and all staff were willing to talk to you about the process. Lovely breakfast and evening meals in the... More

Did a wine tour here and thought the guide was very dull to be a guide, She did not make it interesting. While her English was good she was very droll and I didn't think she explained everything very well. I've done many wine tours before that were great . She didn't explain the wine process or the pacheca wine... More

We stayed at Quinta da Pacheca for 2 nights in August and we loved it. When we arrived at the hotel, we were completely blown away by the avenue of old plane trees leading up to the hotel. And the hotel was even more beautiful than the photos on the website. We had a warm welcome and a brief introduction... More

Stunning setting, hotel looked nice too. Really excited about the food coming later that evening, as we sat under the trees drinking some of their lovely white wine. Biggest disappointment of the holiday. Bad service, food laughable in a room with no pictures and lime free to boot. Horrible with a capital H!

Set on The Pacheca vineyard the hotel is surrounded by the beautiful countryside. The rooms are spacious and individually decorated with comfortable furniture. The rooms had a balcony and a large window which could be opened to let the fresh air in. The ground were manicured to perfection and it was a joy to walk around or just, relax and... More

The highlight of our holiday! This hotel offers everything, from great, warm hospitable staff,to beautiful, luxurious accommodation. The most beautiful setting in it's own vineyard and seating areas dotted around to enjoy the wine with views. We asked for a tour of the vineyard ,which included tastings, for free and a great way to sample the wines and ports before dinner. Not big... More

The hotel was super. We had room 1 which was spacious and well furnished. The staff were relaxed but attentive. There are several public spaces (inside and out) to relax and enjoy a drink or just chill out. As a working Quinta there was a lot of space to wander around among the vines. The wine tour was included and... More

Nice hotel in the Douro Valley. Hotel has spacious charming rooms. Restaurant is cozy, but you have to love thecolor green...The color green has a strong presence in the Interior. Reception area is spacious with big couches where tv can be watched with a drink. Organizational can, in my opinion, be optimized. They forgot the beforehand agreed wine tasting and... More

What a beautiful place in the middle of the vineyards. We were very nicely welcomed, and the room was very comfortable. The hotel is very nicely decorated. The food at dinner was excellent and the wine very good. The breakfast buffet had a nice choice and we had a great stay... Very much recommended.

A magical place in a grove vines, large rooms and very beautiful. Girls team receiving the guests. Excellent service, excellent breakfast. Great Winery, Port wine purchase option. The nicest place in Portugal. Celebration for wine lovers
