My wife and I stayed here for three nights to explore the area and to take the train into Porto for a day (enough in my opinion) for 6€ a person, hour long ride. Breakfast was included in our rate and was one of the better ones we've found in Portugal. The rooms are quiet owing to some "sound" engineering... More

Modern hotel. Well maintained. Rooms are clean and offer a decent size. Price reasonable. Nice breakfast. Wifi included, nice to have! Shops and restaurants at a walking distance. The best point is probably the reception staff, adorable and very helpful people.

This is a nice hotel with helpful staff. It is about 15 minutes walk to the entrance of the old town and 10-15 minutes more if you want to walk to the Braganza Palace and the Guimaraes Castle. The room is comfortable. Although we can hear some traffic noise, when we turned on the air conditioning, the continuous low humming... More

We ended up here after a snafu at another hotel - what a lucky accident! From the time we were welcomed by Adriana (who provided excellent tips, advise and restaurant recommendations throughout our stay) we felt comfortable and happy to return here each evening. Although it's in a larger building, the hotel itself is fairly small (only 3 floors) with... More

We stayed three days in the beautiful city of Guimaraes, the birthplace of Portugal. This is an excellent hotel. Not only it is modern, with large and clean bedrooms and bathrooms, as it is also very nicely located, within walking distance from the Historical Center. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, specially our cleaning lady, who was fantastic. The... More

This is an interesting hotel, within easy walking distance of the centre of town. The hallways, lobby and public rooms are spacious and full of vibrant colours. Strangely, by contrast, the rooms are modest in size and are dreary by comparison to the rest of the hotel. That said, the rooms are clean, the beds big and comfortable, and, contrary... More

A friendly hotel with good English spoken. Only about 5 minutes walk from the historic centre of this pleasant city. Spacious modern room with fridge/minibar. The TV was not so modern and the room needed more lighting. Very quiet air conditioning. Limited parking right outside Good breakfast with fruit, cereal, bread, meat etc and bacon and eggs

This modern hotel is a short walk to the center of historical Guimaraes and the train station. The rooms are relatively large and even if you have a room facing the busy street, teh double glazed windows and air con keep the noise out. The room and bathroom are contemporary, except for the small, old TV (but there is so... More

A very nice modern hotel just outside the historic centre of Guimaraes. Good facilities, very helpful staff - breakfast, secure parking and good internet access included. Rooms are a modest size but well fitted out (except for the small CRT TV), comfortable and quiet. It's an easy 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Recommended

it was a grey spit drizzle day - we had gotten lost enroute to Bom de Jesus, frazzled by unmanned toll station booths so it was an utter delight to be greeted by Adrianna's cheery 'welcome!' in English (was it that apparent?) as we opened the door. Her bright smile, enthusiastic information sharing about pubs, cafes, things to see which... More
