Stay one night and found this hotel very good. Very central and close to everything. You can park your car and walking the city. Price very account. I paid for a night with breakfast and parking 50 €. more

It was a pleasant surprise to see the hotel renovated, since the last time I visited Guimaraes. The lounge and common areas were much better than last time (although design is questionable). The room was also very spacious and with a nice view of the town. I think it could be cleaner and certainly could smell better. The biggest dissapointment... more

We stayed there to celebrate the new year and it was a excellent choice. We were given an enourmours room, with a large bed. Everything was clean and the view at the breakfast floor was breathtaking... Too bad there were a bunch of youg men making a lot of noise and the bread was not that god. But the croissants... more

When you look at it form the outside, you just think... "Oh my God, this time I got it REALLY wrong..." but then everything is there just to contradict this first impression. Spacious rooms, wonderful views (at least on the side of the Hotel my room was, from where I could see the whole Guimaraes), large bed, very very honest... more

Stayed here in November 2005. We had originally booked into the Guimares Hotel, but were bumped into the Fundador when the Guimares overbooked. This is a great hotel, at a great price.
