Stayed a week at this hotel .Very good location on the beach, no road in front. Not a 4 star hotel.A bit dated, 1960's/ 1970's look. Lots of brown wood for ceilings and walls, balconies too small, no room for chairs or tables, small bathrooms no stool, cheap bedcovers,no pictures on the walls in bedrooms or anywhere, breakfast basic no... more

Comfortable and clean with a great breakfast and wonderful sea views. The building was looking well worn, with tiles cracked etc. Don't let this put you off as the hotel has good facilities and there are various restaurants close by. also there is a private secure parking garage. Only stayed one night but would probaly stay there again if I... more

We took a weeks late break south of Porto to a beach resort called Espinho. We booked the Hotel Praia Golfe, billed a 4 star, but a very tired one, 3 would be adequate. However, the hotel was clean well located and with good facilities, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and massage were all available. We booked a room with sea view, and... more

This hotel has a fantastic location right beside a lovely beach and the train station which brings you right into the city centre. The pool is nice, the food is adequate and the hotel is clean but probably not at the standard you would expect for a four star. The weather wasn't great during our stay and the hotel is... more

I spent a couple of nights this time but I've been here before. The Hotel is not so special and fortunately they are renewing some rooms. It is clean even if it has not a great appearance. It is located in front of the ocean (so some rooms at lower floor tend to be noisy) right in this small village.... more

I spent a week at the Praiagolfe in mid September and it was an acceptable experience. Initially, I was shocked to be able to book a room at a supposed 4 star hotel through Orbitz for about $40 (USD) a night. However, after staying there, I would give it about 2 and a half stars. There's no beating the location;... more

the hotel was ok, but not sure it was a 4 star rating. The room we had over looked the busy railway line that was noisey the first night but we got used to it. But to the hotels defence it is nearly on the very nice beach and next door to the casino. The breakfast was nice and the... more

PraiaGolfe Hotel is an excellent hotel, absolutely at the beachfront. 2 minutes walk from Espinho train station, and casino. We had a sea-view room, very good size, with a balcony. Terrific view of the beach. Because it was July, The weather was absolutely fabulously hot, so the air-conditioning in the room did come in handy. If you are into sun-bathing... more
