We stayed here while walking the Camino Portuguese en route to Santiago de Compostela and would recommend it. Very central and our room was very clean and comfortable with ensuite. The staff went out of their way to help us and the restaurant was excellent with great food and, again, very good staff.

my family of 6 stayed here from 15-19 Jul. clean room & comfy beds. clean bathroom. Thursday market at hotel doorstep with many interesting buys eg. vegetables, clothes, household items, flowers, poultry, etc. they close at 6pm, so hurry down! from Hotel, one can easily go for day tours to nearby towns eg. Braga, Guimaraes & Barcelos and Porto.

We stayed end of June, we found the staff friendly and facilities were great. Do try to see the open air market held every Thursday near the hotel, one of the largest in Portugal where you can buy local produce including baby rabbits, ducks & chickens!
