The atmosphere and service are huge advantages of this hotel. Great service! Rooms cleaned every day and when we needed a help, it came within two minutes. The reception staff are very helpful. Greetings especially to Carlos.

Funchal is a quiet resort, but with lots of character. There are plenty of days out to do and we did a fair few. The hotel is a standard 2/3 star hotel in Europe with the basic amenities needed for a self catering holiday. The restaurants around the hotel are very nice and reasonably priced (typical meal cost us as... More

Although I Have Travelled To Madeira Before I Had Never Stayed At This Hotel The Last One Being The Savoy Gardens Which By The Way Was Excellent. In Regards To This Hotel I Guess You Get What You Pay For No Complaints From Me I Thought The Staff Were Really Nice People. They Could Not Do Enough For Me And... More

Just returned from a stay at this hotel. Hadn't seen the reviews on this page as had trouble with broadband. My husband went to Thomas Cook to book a last minute break. Was told this was a 3* plus hotel with good reviews. When we looked at the paperwork Thomas Cook had just booked us on a Jet 2 holiday.... More

Our room was really spacious and we had really nice view to the sea. Street work and traffic noices didn't disturb us at all. All the dishes in the room were filthy but luckily we can do the dishes. And our shower got broken but they fixed it really quickly. Hotel had a bus wich took us to city for... More

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. Pool area was also nice. However the breakfast was quite poor. Same food every morning and the fruits and vegetables didn't seem fresh at all. There was something wrong with the eggs too. Maby they were old or something... And then the wifi. The wifi was only in common areas and... More

Our holiday got off to a bad start when we were given a small and dated room on the third floor. Upon complaining we were told we could move to room 701 the next day by a very kind and helpful Mr Joselino Santos. This room was perfect with two balconies, one of which directly faced the sea. It was... More

This Hotel is very attractive in places - Reception, Dining Room, Pool, Spa but the room I had although clean and provided with ample storage & comfortable beds lacked something. My pleasant solid fronted balcony had a table and upright dining chair, the curtain was blackout but that was it - no striped outer to match the bedspreads and not... More

We initially did not get the ocean view apt. we booked but instead got a bed sitting room at the front which had 2 patios with magnificent views. We were able to do very moderate cooking. We had breakfast, which was included, in the hotel. Breakfast was very disappointing. Eggs done a variety of ways depending on the day, but... More
