My partner and I booked this hotel based on tripadvisor reviews and were very happy we did. The staff on reception were very helpful and informative. We'd booked a sea view room for a small extra cost and it was worth every penny. We had breakfast on the balcony every day over the gorgeous madeiran sea, being only feet away... More

In a nutshell: the hotel was in a great location as there was a shopping mall on the other side of the street, plenty of restaurants and even a second hand kid clothing store nearby. Rooms were clean to the point that the cleaners even did the dishes for us. Free wifi in the hotel was an important aspect to... More

We stayed at this hotel in an apartment for 8 nights just after Easter. We enjoyed our stay at Duas Torres. The staff at reception were always helpful and happy to give information about the area and the public bus service. We were on the 5th floor and had a fantastic sea view. We enjoyed the morning and afternoon sun,... More

We arrived on the 2nd May to find that the hotel was fully booked as it was the Flower Festival weekend, but that wasn't any fault of the hotel but Venere.com who hadn't had any dealing with the hotel I suspect. The young lady on the hotel reception (Nélia Ferreira) certainly went out of her way to help us out.... More

The hotel itself is ok, but the view from the upper flors is spendid and so is the restaurant. It is situated a cvouple of km from the city center, a but is available but set aside time for commuting. Do not mis levada walks and a visit to Monte

The rooms are big and clean (a little old, but nice!), the balcony is spacious and the view is just so beautiful and relaxing. You can wake up every morning to the sound of the sea and have your breakfast (lunch, dinner...) at the balcony. (Remember to get a room with the seaview!) There's a private parking and the pool... Right by the sea, yet close to Funchal. Bus stop outside with frequent buses (about every 15 minutes) into Funchal. The Forum shopping centre is just across the road with food court and supermarket. Rooms include sleeping area, kitchen and a couch, plus balcony, most have sea views. The hotel is outstanding value for money. We’ve stayed here 3 times,... More
