We stayed at this hotel for seven days, on our honeymoon, as we were looking for some winter sun. We had a wonderful experience and I am certain we will visit this lovely hotel again in the future. On arrival we were greeted by the charming reception staff and given an upgrade to a junior suite with two balconies (one... More

What a fab place to holiday, we've been twice now and still don't tire of returning to this hotel ! All the staff treat you great and are so respectful, my wife and I are no strangers to staying away for work let alone holidays so we tend to guage the hotel by the fact that the staff don't change... Returned yesterday from a week at this absolutely lovely hotel. I travel a lot, and hotels are unfortunately starting to all look the same to me, no matter how many good reviews I scroll through before booking. The Regency Cliff turned out to be the exception that proves the rule, and this is the first time I can be bothered... More

Had a lovely one night stay at this hotel before flying home the next day. The room was clean and spacious, and had all the amenities required. All the staff were polite, courteous and very friendly. There was a wide selection of food at breakfast and we left very full! This would be a 5 star review if the wifi... More

My wife and I have just returned from a week in this excellent small hotel . We booked direct with the hotel and took advantage of their winter special with an up grade to a Premier room which was large comfortable and clean . The room benefited from a trouser press and a coffee making machine both slightly unusual in... More

We have just returned from a wonderful week in this hotel. It was our first trip to Madeira and to this hotel. Upon arrival we were told that we had been upgraded and were given a premium room. We cannot fault the hotel as everything met our expectations and more. The breakfast was excellent, the room was superb and the... More

Having booked this hotel through Thomas Cook more than two months ago we arrived to be told that our room had been overbooked and that we were to be moved to another hotel for two nights this is not what we expect from a hotel with four stars! The manager and staff made every effort to amend the situation when... More
