Lovely, clean, old fashioned hotel, very friendly staff who spoke english, nice continental breakfast with various styles of cooked eggs About 10 - 15 minutes walk downhill to old town or 20 mins to the new part If peace and quiet is required plus the best view in Funchal its impossible to beat more
