The Alto Lido Hotel is situated in a prime location on the Estrada Monumental in Funchal, Madeirahe staff are absolutely excellent and friendly. Rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and well maintained.

The hotel location is the only thing what is good, and match the hotel description on their site. Regarding them WIFI should be avaiable in the room, i always choose lime this because of my job. Only in the lobby there is WIFI, and in the room no option for that. For the jacuzzi and sauna they ask extra fee.... More

I was very pleased with the hotel, the staff, everyone was great considering we travel with a small baby. However, keep in mind that this hotel is not new, so it cannot be compared to other 4* newer hotels in Funchal. However, for the price, this is an excellent choice!
