We stayed at this beautiful elegant hotel from 18th July - 25th July Everything is first class, sweeping up the driveway to the most amazing hotel is breathtaking, Surrounded by agapanthus and other exotic plants. The service is first class, with every little detail included , all the staff we came across were polite and professional, so respectful and courteous... More

Mt wife and I stayed in this hotel from 28/06/2014 until 05/07/2014. We chose it because it's not too big and promised to be quiet and secluded, with a reputation for good cuisine. We were not disappointed! The rooms and bathrooms were lovely, with antique furniture which gives them a pleasant "lived-in" feel which we liked very much. Nice and... More

Just returned from weeks holiday at this lovely old fashioned hotel. Old fashioned in that service is efficient friendly and good. We had a 3rd floor room 323 which looks over Funchal above the main entrance. Nice large room with air con and a renewed television since last year. Only comment would be small choice of English speaking channels but... More

Having just returned from Madeira to celebrate our wedding anniversary , we felt the need to state our enjoyment of our stay at the Quinta da Bela Vista. A wonderful , relaxing and charming hotel , totally different from the larger style hotels you would normally stay at. Lovely grounds , nice pool and very good food but most of... More

We had a fabulous time in this discreet and well hidden hotel. The staff were second to none, All facilities excellent. Bar menu a bit limited and we didn't use the A la Carte as there are so many other places to eat.

Absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel in a quiet residential hotel with a view over Funchal. Beautiful big garden with exotic flowers but not overly manicured. Delicious food, great pool to relax by. All the buildings littered with lovely antique furniture. Neither my wife or myself are great believers in spending too much time in the hotel when on holiday,... More
