Much like I had read before I went... the hotel is a little dated, 70s era but quite a reasonable hotel with good service and clean rooms. It is in the hotel area and not a bad walk into town but have a taxi back for 3euros or its a steep walk back. Pool and snack bar are good. Breakfast... more

I called the hotel about a week before I arrived and upgranded to a sea view room with a balcony for only €5.00! The receptionist was really nice when we called... Check in was quick and simple no credit card needed.. thought... more

W ELL lets go for a fun filled week in this hotel--if a waiter had spoken or smiled at either breakfast or dinner i missed it. We booked through hotelsbooked.com having found a good deal on travelzoo for a weeks half board at a good price. We actually went for our honeymoon and at ages 24 and 26 we were by far the youngest guests there! We had a sea view room as per our booking. The room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom.... more

Have just returned from a week at this hotel - Juan and the other receptionists are wonderful. The interior is far better than the outside and the helpfulness of the staff and the general ambience belie the exterior which as has been said before could do with some attention, not the shutters but the drab cement areas. Booked through Hotels Booked .com, told i had an upgrade to a sea view room, the hotel do not honour this without an arguement and put all Hotel Booked .com guests in anything but then after an arguement at reception you get transferred when a seaview room becomes available. This is a pleasant hotel, rooms good, cleanliness excellent, but it was the food that let this hotel down. The evening meal only supplied two main courses, there was always fish & one meat, but that was all, the menu should have had much more choice, for a 4 star Hotel, and I have never been in a hotel before... more
