The hotel came to our expectations and even more. The staff is "super", friendly and they respect our demand for a little bit privacy. The restaurant is also beautiful with fushia colours. Tasteful design. The staff is very polite. Diner is superb.

Just back from 2 weeks in the Quinta da Casa Branca and can certainly recommend this quite hotel in a beautiful garden surrounding. Level of attention for details and service are very high. Staff is very professional and friendly. I recommend half board as the cuisine is simply very good also.

Wanted to try something different for our 25th wedding anniversary and this did not disappoint. Outstanding location within lush sub-tropical gardens. Only 40 or so rooms, so service levels and attention to detail as good as you would expect for 5 star. Half board recommended as dining facilities of excellent quality. Good gym. Heated pool a plus, as was lack... More

This hotel proved to be the perfect idyll for our two week Honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, greeted with fruit and Champagne, to the moment we left we were delighted. The staff are one of the greatest assets of this small Hotel, being the most polite, helpful and professional people. Set in beautiful gardens in a quite peaceful location... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back from the west coast of Madeira. The hotel was in a lovely green setting for the centre of Funchal and found the hotel to be away from some of the more mainstream hotels which we were glad not to be near. The gardens were lovely, room was excellent and the... More

Have just returned from our 1st visit to Funchal and the Quinta Casa Branca and it wont be our last. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The hotel is stunning, the staff are friendly, welcoming and very efficient. The rooms are a great size with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The hotel is small... More

Like Robin and June, with whom we shared some chestnut cake and coffee in the beautiful Nun's valley, this was our first visit to Madeira. The hotel was first class in all respects; in particular, we would highlight the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Of our 14 nights we had half board for seven which worked extremely well given... More

Have just returned from our fourth visit to this beautiful hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always remember us from previous visits. It is situated in wonderful gardens, the restaurant serves delicious food and there is a general air of peacefulness and tranquility. It is a small hotel which we much prefer to the larger ones on the... More

My wife and I have just come back from our first visit to Madeira. Before we went we became unsure about the Quinta Casa Branca because of some of the negative comments we had read on Tripadvisor reviews. We were also unsure about its location and wished we had booked a seafront Hotel instead. Well I can honestly say we... More

This was our 3th visit at this marvellous hotel!!! And it won't be our last... The Staff, rooms, gardens, swimmingpool, architecture of the hotel,.... everything is unbelievable... It's not to far from the center of Funchal (+/- 20 min. walk) and the Lido is also very nearby. Lot's of nice restaurants and pubs are also in the neighbourhood! The hotel... More
