We've stayed here on five occasions and have been treated like royalty.During the month of June there is a magnificent fireworks display over Funchal harbour eachSaturday night at 10.30pm.Whilst the in house restaurants provide good choices they are a little pricey,there are many better value restaurants close by.

We have just returned from our second stay at the Cliff Bay. This time we took our adult daughter and she had a lovely double room to herself across the corridor from ours. Nice fruit, free drinks and flowers in the (superior) room and the hotel replenished the mini bar with what we asked for rather than the standard mix.... More
