Advertised as five star NOT. Five star price 3 star standard. Hotel very tired. Unless you are very fit and like hanging around the hotel this is not for you. 2 cokes in Fungal 4 Euros. Food at hotel barely warm choice poor. The first 3 days lunch was by the pool sounds nice however, not enough umbrellas or tables... More

We stayed here for two weeks at the beginning of September in a one bedroom self-catering apartment (1017). The apartment was well furnished and comfortable. The mini kitchen was perfectly adequate for our needs, no oven, just a small two ring hob and a microwave, and a fridge. Beware of the mini bar in the fridge. We were advised by... More

Firstly I will say that this B and B holiday was a competition prize. However I did pay to upgrade our room to one with self catering facilities, in order that we had a fridge and was I glad I did!! The drinks at the pool bar were absolutely outrageous - 1 small beer and a vodka and lemonade 11... More

We spent 1st week of sept here. Apprehensive as we had read the reviews and about the finances. Our room was excellent but we were on the side facing the generator which makes the balcony virtually unusable. Asking at reception the staff were unbothered and indifferent, We were told that the hotel was full ..... tough. We only had the... More

We came to this hotel in June with Saga. Although it was spotlessly clean and had a beautiful location it was a little bit run down. Sand on the tennis courts that was never swept, a rip in the carpeting for bowls and stairs down the cliff to beach level which were chained off as they were unsafe. The cliff... More

Having seen some of the negative reviews and heard of the Hotel group's financial difficulties we were very pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel was so good; whereas it is fair to say that we would not rate it as 5 star, it was clean, comfortable and well maintained. some of the décor was a little outdated but perfectly... Call me negative but I always read the bad reviews first and I'm happy to say that they were very wrong for this hotel. Yes some of the furnishings are a bit jaded but it makes it feel comfortable and more homely. Now the good points: It is very clean with fresh towels and sheets every day. The beds were... More

This hotel was once a jewel I am sure but the worn carpets and saggy sofas, rust stained swimming pool walls and ageing bathrooms knocks it into average. The staff are, on the whole, helpful and friendly and the restaurant good but in no way gourmet. There is too much emphasis on fixed price buffet for me rather than speciality... More
