Well, what can I say, it has everything you need for a budget hotel, except the pool. There is no breakfast here, but there is a fridge and everything to make a good breakfast, unless salt and pepper. Though you have to bring your own dishwashing soap and spounge. I am glad I know somebody from a 4 star hotel... More

We booked last minute as a cruise we were ment to go on was altered three days before we were due to depart . We did not check the reviews before booking this apartment. The apartments are very clean but the kitchen if you can call it that is just a two hob free standing hot plate that blows the... More

Our stay here wasn't a disaster, but we went away feeling a little disappointed. Good bits first - it was clean in terms of people coming in to clean the room every day (except Christmas - see below!) I'd probably concur with the remarks by other reviewers about location and proximity to supermarkets / restaurants. Do bear in mind however... More

Just returned from our studio apartment at Paraiso. Pluses & minuses in all areas; rare level location; easy walk to Pingo Doce supermarket & cafe (nearby restaurants expensive). On busy bus route so well connected but some road noise. 4 parking spaces but no other free parking nearby. Comfy reception lounge & bar (closes 9pm) & wi-fi (none in apartments).... More

Me and my wife had stayd in Paraiso Apartamentos Turisticos in June and we loved it. For only 175€ we had an excellente quality/price relation for a nice and relax vacations. The apartement is very quiet, the windows are double glass, with no noise from the street and with the door of the room closed, we can not ear nothing... More

I have stayed in this hotel 5 nights. It is nice and clean. Very basic but if you need something cheap rather than fancy this is definitely place to stay. There are supermarkets near by so you can easily get what you need. Bus stop is also very convenient.

We stayed here a few nights as part of a longer holiday in Madeira. We usually avoid Funchal but this was handy as I had to return the car to Europcar over the road. The cooking facilities consist of 2 electric rings but the satellite TV was good. Airport bus stops nearby.

If you want a 'star' hotel don't go. If you want clean, safe, basic accomodation that is very cheap and well situated between the main city anf Lido hotel district the read on. The room we had was 'tired' but clean and serviced daily. The cooking facilities were basic but adequate as we ate out most of the time. There... More
