A quiet Oasis of lush gardens far from the crowds, houses and hotels with spectaular views over the Funchal Bay. Certainly the place for someone who lioves to hear the birds and be close to nature. Personal care is also included by the ever present owner and his efficent staff.

We were fortunate enough to learn about the Quinta da Faja from friends who stayed there while cycling and hiking in Madeira. It is a working farm! We picked fruit, pulled up lettuce for salad and generally loved walking around what was clearly a grand estate. If one wants fresh air, calm and a degree of seclusion from the noise... More
