Sintra boutique hotel is the best place to stay when visiting Sintra. From the checkin to the stay to the room and checkout everything was wonderful. The staff are very helpful and their suggestions of restaurants are very good. The room we stayed in had the view of the castle. Lovely bay window where I could sit and watch the... More

My girlfriend and myself checked in a rainy Thursday afternoon. We were extremely impressed with the treatment we received when the front desk woman walked us through our room, which happened to be the best one in the building. The hotel only had 18 rooms and it felt very exclusive, comfy and welcoming. Everyone spoke perfect English and the free... More

We drove down to Sintra from Porto, and found this hotel with no trouble. It is in a perfect location just around the corner from the main square. While there is considerable traffic on the street during the day, it slows down significantly at night. We were able to park our car right in front of the hotel. The staff... More

Our research showed this hotel would be a great choice for us to spend a couple of days in Sintra . It proved right. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Lot of care in the small details to make the hotel feel fresh and clean. The bathroom is nicely updated to include quality fixtures and for a simple... More

First off, this hotel was in the perfect location and was very comfortable. You could easily walk to 2 of the 4 (palaces and castles) main attractions in town and the other 2 are just a 15 minute bus ride away. The hotel Staff (especially Sofia) were very helpful with directions and other travel advise. She held breakfast past the... More

Very clean! Nice size room with everything needed for a few comfortable nights. Staff friendly and good with directions in English. Breakfast was included and quite good...great coffee and fruit. Now the surprise or should I say surprises...I was getting use to paying for everything during our Portuguese holiday- butter paddies, bread sticks et al UNTIL the Sintra Boutique Hotel!... More

We visited the Sintra Boutique hotel for a wedding anniversary get away and were delighted with all aspects. We were shown our room by staff and this was done in a really personable way -not the usual 5* routine. The staff were all great especially the bar manager when we stopped for a bedtime drink. He recommended his best port... More

The Sintra Boutique Hotel was mentioned by the NY Times, so I thought I'd give it a try. It turns out the hotel is perfectly situated in the center of town. The rooms are nicely sized and comfortably furnished. The staff are pleasant and the breakfasts (included) are fantastic. In addition to what's available on the copious buffet, guests can... More

We chose the hotel on the strength of the great reviews we read on Trip Advisor, and were glad we did. The hotel's location is perfect -- we could see the National Palace from our room. Rooms are a nice size and immaculately clean. Daily breakfast was terrific (great coffee!) and dinner at the restaurant was quite good. The real... More
