We stayed in thi hotel for a weekend, its lovely for a romantic trip! Beautiful location, wonderful view... very romantic. Breakfast was very basic packaged cheese, toast, jam, etc. The hotel needs to be cleaned more often... a lot of dust and spider webs everywhere! The stasff are very nice and polite, but they have problems speaking english.

+ Very spacious rooms, just in the middle of the way between Pena and Sintra, great view from our room. Good breakfast. - Hotel needs some fresh air, spider webs near windows. Staff doesn't speak good English.

We stayed here in Sept 2011, and we were told by phone the room had a view of the fort. The breakfast area does-- but our room had a view of the little pond that smelled a bit. Most rooms are up many stairs, and our room had fairly old furniture and a basic shower/toilet/sink. We thought about walking to...
