We arrived after dark (try not to do this, as it is a little tricky to find and to negotiate the narrow streets) and in the pouring rain, and Silvia at the front desk could not have been nicer. The room was well appointed, and the Ginja and chocolate cake were nice touches. The restaurant was ok, not great, plus... More

Stayed at the suite at this small boutique hotel and really enjoyed our stay. Really well located but removed from the main busy street with loud tourists... Nice in-room small touches like free bottles of water, fruit, cherry liquer "ginja", and freshly baked chocolate treats. Great views beyond the castle walls from our suite although it does not have a... More

We tossed up (3 couples) as to whether to stay inside the wall or outside for our 2 night stay.....we were so glad we decided to stay inside. It is a charming hotel and the staff are wonderful. The young lady who served us breakfast did a wonderful job and the breakfast was lovely. Certainly not a luxury hotel but... More

Firstly, the hotel is definitely worth finding. Nice ambience with friendly staff, comfortable lounge, extras in the room with fruit, cherry liqueur and home baked chocolate cake. Mmm! We particularly enjoyed the breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice, cereals, warm bread and croissants with ham and cheese, fresh exotic fruit and home baked cake., If you're driving there, do not... It's a very nice small hotel right in the centre of Obidos. Our room was ample, very comfortable and had a very pretty balcony where we could have breakfast. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, local sweets and wine. The room was immaculately clean. Staff were very polite and ready to help to make our stay as nice as possible.... More

Great location inside the walls, room was very clean and comfortable. I believe all rooms have an outside area, either a patio or a balcony. They offer free bottled water, chocolate tart, fruits and ginginha, all replenished every day. They also offer the option for guests to have breakfast in the room, or in their restaurant (bfast consists if bread,... More

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in this Hotel . Many websites make hotels look more glamorous than what they really are - and this one certainly is no exception If you park before the main gate - or in the free parking across the road - the hotels is relatively straightforward to find ( enter the main gate... Another hotel with a past grandeur and a present decayed reality. Arrival: no one to help with luggage. The receptionist (vey nice!) was the one to help me with the bags. Prices are high, but even so they charge Euros 5 for scrambled eggs + bacon!! It was the only hotel I have stayed in Portugal that charged for this... More

This is an excellent hotel in a great location. Firstly to address the access concerns,if you can't find/ drive to this hotel you should not be driving in Portugal, it's not hard. If you are concerned get a map from the tourist office outside the gate and follow it. Staff, decor and overall ambience are excellent. breakfast is limited and just... More

Casa das Senhoras Rainhas is a beautiful little hotel, with pretty/clean/charming rooms and elegant communal areas. The complimentary continental breakfast was delicious, and the service very good. Driving to the hotel was exciting through the narrow Obidos entrance gate (immediately turn left after the gate for about 100 meters and you will find hotel) - don't park outside, get inside... More
