I couldn't find this hotel even standing in front of entrance:) but when I walked inside the corridor, old stairs, strange but really fascinating feeling... something old but not in meaning ugly or poor...rather to say that "with history and with old own style". rooms amazing, large bathroom , view...look at the pictures:) also really cheap, close to everything, really... A really nice hotel in the city center of Lisbon (Rossio district), very close to the Metro station Restauradores, on a street full of lively restaurants. There's a little cafe bar a street away that offers expresso & the delicious portuguese Pastéis de Nata for EUR 1,50 (all day long). The hotel wasn't hard to find (no. 81), the stairs... More

Great location in Lisbon city, close to many restaurants and attractions with one of the best portuguese chicken spots in Lisbon right around the corner. Rooms are quaint but well looked after and even shared bathroom was nice and clean. It does get noisy here up until 1am, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper or getting to... More

Great hotel located in the center of everything. The rooms are a little small, but they are cleaned every day and the bed made up. The room I had was a shared bathroom, and the bathroom was immaculate. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very secure. Very close to the metro station as well as... More

Its no 4Star ,, but its about as close to the centre as you can get, 50m from the steps to Baxia Alto and less to the square and metro. Very handy and well kept. Staff are friendly and there is WiFi and a book swap library .. Ideal for the budget traveller who wants to spend more than 20€... More

The other reviews are very accurate with regards to the noise; the street noise is unbelievable! But if that isn't an issue for you, the location and price are almost unbeatable: we were so tired from sightseeing that we didn't care. The staff, while speaking no English, are very friendly and helpful, and while we shared a bathroom it was... More

Perfectly located between two main tube stations and near central Lisbon with lots of restaurants - the only downside is the noise from the streets, but I guess this is a small price to pay. The tiny entrance is quite ugly but inside everything is spotless clean and the staff in absolutely kind and professional. They don't mind to spare... More

I have mixed feeling about this Pensao. There are many good points and some bad. Good: Easy to find, short walk from Restauradores metro stop. Good location, close to Rossio in the centre of Lisboa. Clean rooms and very clean Pensao itself, spotless, outside bathroom cleaned and sparkling. Free internet Negatives: Staff does not give you front door entrance key... More
