The room was very good, breakfast was splendid, lunch buffet was ok. The staff was friendly. The hotel didn´t have much of a special character, but everything was fine. It´s located outside of the city center, but a metro ride to the old town was easy.

Stayed here for 2 days for a business trip and it's a nice hotel. Location is in a very new part of Lisbon that is close to the Oriente Metro station (only 3 stops from the airport). If you want to go into the old city it takes about 45 minutes by public transport. Hotel rooms are nice, clean and... More

I stayed here for 3 nights. Found the hotel to be lovely and clean. Well situated for everything you need. Can catch the tour bus from across the road. Staff were great. Couple of things they really need to improve on - the carpets in the room need a good clean. The bar sofas need replacing or recovering as they... More

I stayed at Olissippo Oriente one night . The room was good and comfortable and clean, But for a couple of hours there was a horrible strong smell of sewage on the 6th floor were my room was. When I mention this to the the front office staff the excuse that was given to me was : "it's because of... More

We had the unfortunate pleasure of staying here. The rooms are HOT even though its cold outside. We turned off the heating and it was still unbearable. The wifi doesnt work unless we were in the foyer (where we spent a lot of time due to the room being hot). Reception staff said "thats how it is" and were generally... More

Stayed at this hotel for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is very close to the Oriente Station where we did our travels to Porto and Sintra. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the noisy level was acceptable. Front desk was very friendly and helped with all our questions.

I have stayed there 2 nights. Everything was OK beside that: there was no kettle and tea in the room; noisy elevators that you can hear it from the room - mine was few steps from elevators, the sound was like some constructions where there; room generally needs small improvments and renovations. Beside those small problems the hotel well located... More

The room was large, attractively designed and decorated, and clean. My only negative comment might be that the some of the furnishings were looking a little bit worn (a few chips in the bed-frame, a stain on the chair). WiFi was quick and reliable, although you needed to enter username and password for validation frequently. Breakfast was adequate - there... More

My daughter and I chose this hotel as a meeting point in Lisbon before taking the train to the Algarve the next morning. It was a short taxi drive (under 10 Euro) from the airport and within a block of the train station. It was a perfect choice for this purpose as we were arriving at very different times of... More

Convenient for airport and station. Good selection of shops, bars and restaurants round about in very attractive area of modern architecture. Cross the road and number 728 bus will get you to old centre in 15 mins, ignore the metro. Five mins walk down to the river. Comfortable room and decent breakfast. Good value for money and if going back... More

Staying in Parque das Nacoes

Neighborhood Profile
Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.
