Into every life a little rain must fall. Unfortunately the rains choose to fall the week we were in Lisbon. Because of this, our review of the Hotel Aviz might not be as sunny as it deserves. Our room and bed were perhaps a bit smaller than we might have liked, but were not unusually small by European standards. Were... More

We stayed 6nights in Aviz Hotel. The location is very convenient to get metro. I enjoyed to stay here with men about 60 years old working at this hotel who were very kind gave me nice suggetions about restaurant, sightseeing. Moreover we enjoyed breakfast and dinner there with thier good service. I can say this hotel is very comfortable.

Okay we recently stayed in this beautiful hotel in Lisbon and let me tell you that it was fantastic. First off, no hotel is any good unless the staff are very good.....and the staff in Aviz are GREAT! It was our first time to Portugal and we cannot wait to go back. Upon check in, the front desk arranged for... More

Very good hotel with excellent location . The hotel surprised us with an amazing room especially for my birthday . Our room was on the fifth floor with a lovely terrace and the breakfast was rich with different kind fruits The personal is very kind and careful and the price corresponds with quality of the hotel. We stayed in 2 rooms in Aviz Hotel. Our third time there and again from front desk staff on it was excellent. We were lucky to have a suite and a room nearby on first floor, rooms very good. Breakfast again very good. Hotel is in good location for us, can walk to historic downtown but metro is very close.... More

We selected this hotel because of its location, the sense that it had a certain ambiance and the price booked through TripAdvisor...we were not disappointed. It is a hotel with some history which relocated quite recently. So it is both new but they have incorporated much of the old furniture and fittings which definitely give it a great ambiance. The... We had 3 rooms for our family so that we were able to get a good overall feel for the accommodations. The rooms were a good size and mostly clean but the beds were all too hard (no box springs). Be careful getting out of the bathtubs, it's a higher step and somewhat unsafe. The location was quiet and safe... More

I had a single room which was small with a TV, desk, chair and bed. The TV had some English language channels and CNN. There was no easy chair and no tea making facility. The safe was a box that sat on the desk and could be picked up by a thief and taken away. The bed was rock hard... More

The first impression was very positive: upon our arrival we were greeted by the friendliest staff in a while, followed by the surprise that we had been upgraded to a suite (probably because our stay was during the week), the rooms very very spacious and comfprtable. The hotel is at least a 15 Minute walk away from most restaurants, bars... More
