The hotel greeted us with the announcement that they intended to downgrade us for a night because the rooms were full, but would give us free wifi as a compensation. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour, and it took more than half and hour and protests by telephone and eventually in person to the manager before they backed down. The rooms,... More

The hotel is located in an excellent location with a lot of shopping and restaurant choices near by. The staff were friendly (they let me borrow one of their adapters when mine didn't work) they were knowledgeable and gave me the best advice on transportation. The only real complaints I have are having to pay for WIFI and the location... More

Our room faced the street but there was barely any noise the whole time we were there (unless you like sleeping with the window open, shouldn't be necessary as they have air conditioning). As expected, it was on the smaller side and looked a bit tired but more importantly it was clean, and cleaned well by housekeeping. Bathroom was reasonably... More

Our room (114) had en suite bathroom, aircon, safe for your valuables and was quite spacious. The only negative was the noise, which only bothered us for 5 to 20 minutes at night when the bins were being emptied. Laundry was changed frequently and everything was perfectly clean, although a little dated but I like hotels with character. We paid... More

We stayed one night 8/22/13. Even though I had read many negative reviews, we decided to take a chance because the location is right in the heart of the city. I requested a room away from the street, but we ended up with a room facing the street. While the room was comfortable enough (for a budget hotel $58) the... More

The location is perfect for daily excursions / sightseeing. The downside is that there is a local shop below and early morning deliveries (and i do mean early!) VERY noisy. The hotel is also close to street cafes /restaurants and their staff are not the quietest when putting away tables /chairs at close of play and setting them out again... More

Do not expect a fancy hotel, but its location is great. Positive; location and friendly staff Negative; rooms at street side are very noisy and poor breakfast (our last day at 9.15 only milk and cereal were left and there was no refill)

The only thing thats really not good is there breakfast, they only have bread, cheese, coffee and juice, they dont even provide a ham, also, if... More

The location is perfect! Sol close cu Rosio Square, Rua Augusta and evertything else in the centre of Lisbon. We stayed there for 1 week and had breakfast included in the price of the room. We only had breakfast the first day of our stay there - it was not very good. The room, the cleaning service, the lack of... More
