Showers are tiny with a curtain that allows very easy flooding. Rooms are dark and dull. Breakfast was very average and basic. Staff were friendly. No Wifi unless you were on the ground floor... Lovely Italian restaurant next door but not sure I would stay here again or recommend....

I stayed here as part of a tour but would never have booked this hotel if I'd done my own booking. It's simply too far away from the town center, requiring a taxi or metro trip into the town. The website claims it's located in the "heart of Lisbon". The shower wasn't great, it was tiny with no shelf for... More

I stayed in this hotel for 6 days in a triple room with private bathroom. The room was extremely clean (clean towels everyday!!), the space was OK for placing 3 baggages, just the shower was not that confortable. The hotel is located 4 underground stops from city center (ca 10 min) on blue line (linea azul) and very convenient for... More

Some really interesting eateries in the area but the best thing of all is that a lidl supermarket is directly opposite so if you are on a budget this is ideal,I was reluctant to ask the very helpful staff it was ok to have a beer or two in the back garden,so I just did. It is near to the... More

The rooms were well set up and service was nice here. Breakfast was included and we could access the wifi from our room on the first floor. The window to our room was an internal area of the hotel looking onto other rooms. The hotel was a good distance from the city centre so it made using the metro a... More

Rooms here were nice, quite compact though, and the shower was small (which I've also found in quite a few european hotels/hostels, so this seems to be par for the course). I stayed here for two nights in a twin room as part of an Intrepid tour. Intrepid hotel/hostel locations are usually quite good, but I found this one too... More

Hotel Italia is located within a short walking distance of the Gulbenkian and Modern Art Gallery in Lisbon. It was clean, close to restaurants and main accesses to the hop-on-hop-off bus. Unfortunately, in spite of the efforts of helpful staff, we were unable to access the internet. Apparently this was very unusual. There was internet on the main floor in... More
