To start, please remember this is only a two star budget hotel. Do not stay here if your expecting a 4 star all inc gaff. we paid £93 for four nights b&b in a double room out of season. You can't beat that ! cheap skate! The hotel was NOT hostel standard at all. there was a pleasant entrance hall... More

We have just returned after staying 5 nights here. This was booked as part of a package and we only paid £137.50 for the whole stay. Therefore for £27.50(per nights) for 2 adults which includes breakfast, I am more than prepared to overlook the faults of this hotel. Positive - it is in a good location. Bus 760 stops directly... Shocking, expensive at 290 euros per night. The rate changed to 460 euros in the space of going out to dinner. Hotel photos on website bear no resemblance to the real thing. the building is damp, paint flaking off, chair covers worn in the 'dining room', the rooms smelt, were sparesly furnished and nothing like we were lead to believe... Definitely is a 2stars hotel.I will describe the negative and positive things of a one night in this hotel. Positive things: the location. Safe area, restaurants around, , supermarkets, a mall close by in Saldanha/picoas , little stores of grossery, coffees, a portuguese bakery at pascoal de melo street and there are bus and metro to this area. Metro could... More

There's a few metro stations, nearby also there's the bus number 760 that stops right on front of the hotel, staff is very nice and helpful, even more then they should be(I've been to some hotels before, where the staff was really bad, and they didn't try to help you, or were nice, they would make your life tougher) rooms... We stayed one night in this hotel. The location of the hotel is good. It is reachable by 10-15 minutes walk from Metro Stations Anjos or Picoes (Station Saldanha is a bit more far) or you can take a bus number 760 from Square Figueira or Martim Moniz (just five bus stops to the hotel). The bus stops in front... More

budget break to Lisbon. hotel looks great from the outside, inside is a different matter. the reception area is tiny. 2 people with cases and its full. the lift is very hit and miss.it was meant to take 5 people but it would not work with me and my partner together so you have to go one at a time.... First of all, my compliments to the hotel staff who tried to make our lives agreeable despite the appalling condition of the building. Upon arrival we were assigned two rooms on the 4th floor with a very distinct sewage stench. After complaining at reception we were given 2 other rooms : mine was again on the 4th floor and had... We chose this hotel for its unique Portuguese flavor and we were not disappointed. It was inexpensive yet had all the necessary perks we needed. The hotel staff were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was more than anticipated. We were given directions that we could understand and overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. The room had double beds... More

Bed a bit hard. Street a bit noisy. Standard breakfast. Good price though at 35 Euros for a double room. Getting to the city is easy from the bus outside the hotel or easy enough walk. Getting to and from the city it is about a 10minute walk then about a 20minute bus ride to the airport.
