We really enjoyed this boutique B&B at the start of our trip in Portugal and it left a better emotion than other bigger hotels. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, although the open (no door) toilet was a little weird. The breakfast was also okay and we were served tasty capsule coffee (most of the bigger hotels served awful... More

The room is pretty clean, however very small and the bathroom had a problem with the shower. The business is pretty small, therefore the breakfast is made in house and served only for maximum 10 people. The prices are average. If you are looking for a family business clean and nice in Lisbon, this could be the place.

Its not worth the price, you can get a much better place for your money. This is not an hotel and neither a guest house, it's the fifth floor of an old office building. To enter you ring the bell, wait for a while in the street for the door to open. Then you enter an ugly hall and go... More

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The rooms were gorgeous! And the location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to restitants, supermarkets and the metro! And i cannot praise the staff enough! My partner became unwell during our stay and the staff were fantastic! The breakfast was great too! Definitely filled us up for the morning!... More

You would not expect to find such calm & serenity in a buzzling city. But we did ...on the 5th floor. The staff was always friendly & helpful. They even made us sandwiches on a Sunday nite when all the bakeries were closed and we were too tired to dine out. Room & bathrooms were clean and roomy, location was... More

Outside the building you would not expect what you receive after entering the 5th floor. A warm, modern and impressive entrance! Very friendly people, and the rooms have a nice ambiance. Everything you need during a city trip is there! Close to metro stations, hop on hop off bus stop, shops, restaurants sight seeing spots etc. The bedrooms really nice... More

Everything about this hotel was excellent except the customer service. We requested a quiet room, were placed in a noisy room. We then asked to move rooms and was told that they would speak with the manager then get back to us and we never heard.back from anyone. Bring earplugs if staying in ooms 501 or 502! I came home... Stayed in Castilho House for four nights and it was a very good experience. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is good. The room is much more bigger than those showing in the photos in its website. The wifi is very great, smooth and fast. The location is good, near Metro and busy center but quite enough for... More

Very nice and modern! We were very impressed! The staff was so helpful and accommodated our early departure with cheer! The decor was exquisite and very modern. We loved Portugal and this was a perfect set up for us to get to the airport on the day we left.

Castillo house provides everything one could want in a city BnB. The beds are comfortable, the decor is exceptional, the staff are wonderful and the breakfast superb. Could not fault the place. Thoroughly deserves its very high ranking.
