just back from a three night stay in this lovely hotel. Our room was modern with a refreshing, themed decor. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and our room had the quietest air conditioning !!which I really appreciated. There was no noise to be heard from the street below either! So we were very happy with our room.The... I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my time, from cheap backpacker hostels to 5 star resorts and palaces - Teatro has got to be in the top 5. LOCATION: I was in Lisbon for 2 weeks and stayed in three different hotels in different neighbourhoods, out of all of them Teatro was definitely the best location. It's in... More

Indeed, a very good location, a nicely designed room, friendly staff ready to assist and advise, if needed. Being on the 4th floor, I even enjoyed the view on the river. Probably, the only drawback is a tiny lift hardly accommodating 2 (maximum 3 slim) people.. ))

GREAT location, walking distance to many restaurants, shopping (some high dollar shopping included!), the metro station (Baixa/Chiado), and the river. Also close to Bairro Alto, a fun place that turns into a party at night. Also a quick walk (10-15 minutes) to the "main/commerce square" and center of Lisbon. We rented the Teatro suite and are glad we did, as... More

Teatro is a small hotel with a special ambiente. My wife and I checked in for a 5 day extended weekend in August 2014. The hotel has been a recommendation on booking.com and we chose a small room from the options as we intended to see Lisbon and not to stay in the room. The room indeed was small, but... More

Spent 3 nights at the Teatro, had a great room, overlooking the city. Very good friendly service, going the extra mile. room was good size with all facilities, the kids had a twin room that was smallish, but fine. Breakfast was good, and probably the best Natas we had in Lisbon, and we had a few !! Only gripe would... More

Fantastic location just a short walk from the night-life of the Bairro Alto. The staff were friendly and happy to suggest restaurants and places to visit. The room was clean, nicely decorated and had everything you needed. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat-eaters. I would strongly recommend this B&B.

Excellent guest house in great location but bear in mind Lisbon is made of hills. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful and breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was very comfortable with high quality decoration. Definitely the best guest house we have stayed in in any European City. Definitely recommend it.

If you are seeking a non standard hotel B&B in Lisbon try this out. Perfectly located and beautifically decorated I loved it. My room was very small and whilst a double it only really suited a single person. Very unusual property and it will def be my first choice next time I am in the city.
