My comments are similar to other positive reviews. Excellent location, somewhat dramatic decor in smallish rooms (not atypical for Europe though), very helpful staff. Can walk to many desirable sightseeing areas in Lisbon; lots of nearby restaurants; convenient to tram #28 which gets you to the Cathedral (Sé).

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days end of June. Location in this area is excellent, several interesting options. However escalator is a bit narrow, in our view this is charming, no stress. For a city like this the room is excellent and clean. The reception is very good, they really know what they are talking about. A... More

We stayed here for three nights. A small but charming and newly renovated hotel centrally located to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Good breakfast and very nice and helpful staff. The hotel is recommended.

A stone's throw from the heart of the city, with plenty of interesting side streets to explore. Courteous, friendly and informative staff on hand at all times. Comfortable accommodation, with high ceilings and large windows, interesting décor, Standard rooms are small. Very good breakfast included in the price. Many good restaurants close by. Good transport facilities within a short walking... More

My husband and I recently stayed three nights at Teatro B&B in Lisbon, Portugal. He had read a review of the hotel in the New York Times and we agree with the review. The hotel has 14 rooms and we stayed in number 14. The room itself is slightly small but the ceilings are high and there's two large windows... More

Perfect location in the city center. Two metro stations nearby. The neighbourhood itself is very nice and characteristic, there are some nice restaurants nearby. The staff is very helpfull. The room is indeed very small, specially for 2 persons. The bed was good however and that's the most important! The bathroom is very tiny and not that comfortable. The shower curtain was... More

We were very pleased with our stay at Teatro B&B in Lisbon! The room was much smaller than I imagined it would be - there's not much space in the room other than the bed, bathroom, and shower. But it was clean, well-kept, and the sheets, towels, etc were very nice. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. They... More

We stayed at the Teatro B&B for two nights May 22 and 23 and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was great. The location of Teatro B&B is perfect, it's right in the city center and you can walk to the most places in Lisbon and the underground is very close. They were very helpful. I would stay there again... More

I am writing this after my first night at this hotel. The rooms are postage stamp size. Fine if you are by yourself but two people can't pass each other in these rooms. It is clean but leaves a lot to be desired. There is NO space to put anything so you have to live out of your suit case...... More

We stayed at the Teatro B&B for 5 nights, commencing a three-week visit to Portugal and Spain, and were so impressed, we cancelled another reservation for two weeks later, and rebooked the Teatro when we returned to Lisbon. First of all, the staff is exceptionally friendly, courteous, and attentive. During our stay, no question was unanswered, no request unfulfilled. In... More
