The room is not the type of hotel I’m used to. I was surprised when I was in room. I felt as if I was in a hostel. It’s is a very simple room. Hotel does get points lot it’s location and safety. It is right across from Parque metro station which is the blue line. The hotel location is in a good neighborhood. It’s is just five minutes walking distance from Marques de Pombal Square. If you like walking, it’s an easy walk to Praça de comerció. In between you have Rossio terminal where you can catch regional trains or multiple buses. The 727 bus to Belém is right on Rua Joaquim Antonio de Aguiar. There is also a very nice park nearby. The room was clean. Soap bar, body and hair wash, shower cap is provided. Air conditioning did work. Breakfast consisted of cold cereals, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, teas, fruits, breads, cheese, two types of ham. There were hard boiled eggs alternating with scrambled eggs. Check in and check out was easy and quick. Staff is helpful. There was an issue with toilet flusher not stopping which was addressed when I mentioned it to front desk.

Overall a good value for the money, a clean hotel, and centrally located. The bed was small and uncomfortable. My flight was cancelled and delayed one full day so it was a disappointment that the hotel still charged me for my room even though it wasn't my fault that I could not get there to use the room for the first night. You'd think since I was staying 8 nights that they would have shown some pity. But to make things worse, Unfortunately, my room had an AC unit that was not working. I brought it up and they suggested for me to use a small fan, but I said i was already using one. Two days later, I complained again. The temperature outside was 95-102 degrees so my room was an oven. Again, the same guy told me there was nothing I could do despite the fact that I said I could not sleep; all I did was lay there sweating. I then complained later that night to a different person and he very easily changed my room. This was infuriating that the other guy made me stay in that over for 3 nights and was planning on me roasting in there 5 more nights when they clearly had available rooms to change me to. It was a bit annoying that nobody even offered to help me transport my things from floor five to floor two, but I was at least grateful to get a new room. The second i walked in to a room that was supposed to be vacant, the air was already blowing well which only emphasized how rude the manager was to think keeping a paying customer in an over was the right choice when he could have moved me to a room with a working AC at any time.

Never have I ever seen a hotel like this. Checked in and checked back out within an hour or so. Booked to stay with my partner and was given room 603 which ended up being a ‘twin room with balcony’ which was jammed shut and the door looking very very old. The corridor to the room was in pitch black with the chain ripped off the door so how you’re expected to sleep easy knowing anyone could try the door is beyond me. Room 603 was covered in mould, had a musty damp smell that felt suffocating, some sort of shower with what looked like a bidet at the bottom of it which was dirty. We couldn’t bare to stay there even for a night as our skin was crawling! We didn’t dare pull the covers back as the walls were covered in damp and water and the bedsheets were also soaking wet! Very very disappointed, we were offered another room but the full place looked disgusting so we checked out and paid an extra €300 after paying for 4 nights at the residencial to move to a hotel that we could actually sleep in without worrying about being bitten by something or being broken into. I never write reviews but please everyone be warned, this place is NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Lisboa once again & I chose the same hotel I stayed at in early 2018…. The rooms are basic, but clean & have all the basic essentials included. Staff courteous. Breakfast is average but enough to get you going. It’s all about the location location location & with close proximity to two metro lines, a few touristy locations including the Parque Eduardo VII gardens & the hop on / hop off tour options, there’s not much to complain about. Aldi now has a supermarket close to the hotel & so is the El Corte Ingles shopping mall. There are a few more dining options in the vicinity but one not to be missed is the always busy little coffee shop bakery down the street which IMHO has the best pastel de natas !!!

We were given this hotel as part of a weekender break mystery holiday deal on wowcher so weren’t expecting too much as we didn’t pay loads. The receptionist was very friendly. The room was a good size, only 2 plug sockets which we dealt with but would have preferred more. The beds weren’t the comfiest but the shower was very powerful. The only major downside was our room was where the housekeeping staff based themselves so very early in the morning we were woken up by very loud talking. Breakfast was OK but if you want brioche then you have to go early. We were able to leave our bag in the bar area as our flight wasn’t until the evening.

I book this hotel for one week in May. Due to Covid 19 borders were closed in Canada and no flights. Since my reservation was non refundable hotel didn’ t bother to refund my cost or provide voucher for the future travel. This is so unfair to customers.

We stayed here for three nights with a package booked through love holidays. The hotel is basic and I don't want my four stars to be mistaken for suggesting it is a four star hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was on the third floor which was close to the breakfast area. The hotel has a lift so fairly accessible. The room had everything we needed. There was enough wardrobe space for two and the beds were comfortable. The hairdryer in the bathroom was actually fairly powerful. Our room was on the back of the hotel which I expect would have been much quieter than the front as the road was quite busy. The only issue with the room for us was a lack of plug sockets. There were only two available so if you have a lit of devices to charge it would be worth taking an extension or buying one. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard and fresh towels were given. The hotel itself felt very secure and I noted when we left for our flight in the middle of the night that the front doors were locked and we had to be let out by the receptionist. If you are staying in Lisbon for a short time this hotel is great, and the close proximity to the metro makes it a great base. We didn't really explore nearby so can't comment on the area.

I booked this hotel as the description said in was minutes from city centre with bars shops, etc, we are in our late seventies and it took a lot of walking to these facilities, nearest restaurant was Di Casa at the bottom, and just a handful of snack bars, metro is just across the road, quite difficult to understand portugese to get a card or pay, luckily each time someone helped us, on arrival I was quite unimpressed with reception just in a little corner, the room was ok but heater wasn't working so after coming in with wet clothes (a few showers) we had to hang coats etc. in the bathroom where there was a heater over the door, breakfast (continental) was ok, quite decent room, just a small bar only open at night, spent a lot on taxis down to the old town and back as we found it to hard walking up and down, think we have had it with cities.

We stayed here for 4 nights and my room was great, no 216 because it had a normal shower, an additional couch and a lot of space. There is also a window in the bathroom, which is always good. There is no view, except for the Sheraton just in front. Breakfast was the same every day - ham, cheese and no fruit. The location is excellent if you are for the first time in Lisbon, it is just in front of Parque metro station. In Lisbon you will fid everything by metro, it is very easy and there is a map at the reception desk. We took zapping cards, all in total 25-30 euros each for 4 days.

We spent our vacation at Residencial Horizonte at the end of October. The hotel is incredibly well placed, right in front of Parque metro station. This was very helpfull. We arrived at the hotel late at night and we recived a room at the 2nd floor where if we opened the door there was no place for anything else. The improvised tiny tiny bed was on wheels and 2 adults did not fit there. In the bathroom, if you are ambitious you can use the toilet, the sink and the shower all in one move with no effort. Due to the fact that we had 7 nights of accomodation and my boyfriend is 6.5 tall, we managed to change the room with a normal spacious one. The people at the reception are very nice and helpfull and the room was cleaned every single day. Also the towels were changed daily. The breakfast was modest, but if you need the hotel for a nice shower and a clean place to sleep, then this is the perfect location for you.
