We heard of this hotel through Rick Steves' Lisbon places to stay recommendations. This was an amazing hotel. Pros: 1) Centrally located, steps from Praca Figueira, and 2 minutes from Rossio. 2) We traveled in November with our 6 month infant, and they gave us a really big double bed room with air-conditioning and heating. Break Fast was included too... More

We were not looking for a typically Canadian or American hotel but something that offered location, comfort and affordability but was typically European in style. We found this at the Hotel Lisboa Tejo! The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and spoke very good English. The rooms were small, as is typical with older hotels, but the beds were very... Our first stay was excellent: a recently remodeled and redecorated room, friendly and helpful staff, and an excellent breakfast. On our second stay, the staff and breakfast were still first rate, but the room we were given had not yet been remodeled; the plumbing and air-conditioning were barely okay. So, check your room before you unpack.

Never visited this City before but a pleasant surprise. Hotel centrally located and only a few minutes from the wide river Taigus on which several boat trips may be taken . The weather was amazing, t shirts only from first thing in the morning until midnight. Excellent selection of cafes and restaurents.

We had a warm and friendly welcome by the staff in the reception, and got nice and spacious room in a relative new part of the hotel. (Room 217) The room was well furnished and with a good bed. The aircondition helped us with low temperature so we could have a good sleep at night. Even if we had room... More

Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Typical tourist hotel and clean comfortable enough room. Wi Fi in lobby area. Good full breakfast in downstairs room - also friendly and helpful staff there. Great location near square with tourist buses and near tram stops. Book early - it seems like a busy place with loyal following.

This was our first trip to Lisbon, and the location was absolutely perfect! Close to Rua Augusta, alfama, metro station, rossio square, and much more. Room was small but comfortable. Now view in the back of the hotel where we stayed but we weren't in the room a whole lot anyway. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This hotel is... More

This Hotel is in an ideal location. Markets, restaurants and busy squares surround. The lobby and lower level floor(breakfast) have been completely redone. There is beautifully exposed old structure combined with new. Most pleasing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There are problems. The trolley car is right in front and around the Hotel, so it is noisy and... More

We stayed here for one night before leaving Lisbon. On re-reading earlier reviews, I can't help but feel that there are two categories of rooms at this hotel. Our room (twin) was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, but it was also very basic, with doors and woodwork that looked like they hadn't seen paint for decades. And facing... More

The hotel is perfect situated in the center of Lisboa. The rooms are simple, but clean and with a good bed, and aircondition. The staff was very helpfull and attended to all our qustions and needs. Would have preffered to have free internet access in the bedroom. This hotel would be a natural choice for my next trip to Lisabon.
