Excellent hotel and especially excellent service. I would not give it 5 stars (it is simply not enough pretentious to get in that category) but you do not have to pay what you pay for a 5 stars either, so the quality-price ratio is perfect. Among the things we liked most, I would mention the breakfast, which is excellent, especially... more

This is a beautiful hotel but not quite in the centre of things. It's about a 20 min walk down to the central square. However there is a metro stop a couple of mins walk away. The hotel itself is tasteful, comfortable, classy and spotlessley clean. The staff are fantastic. The breakfast is incredibly good. One of the best hotel... more

Fabulous setting with lovely public rooms and a terrific restaurant. We enjoyed eating in the enclosed courtyard from the bar menu and ended most days with a nightcap in the courtyard. The staff is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and accomodating. Most staff spoke a minimum of three languages and all we talked with spoke English very well. Our room was what... more

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the beautiful Real Palicio. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Part of the public areas are really exquisite and the whole hotel is comfortable, spotless and tastefully decorated. The staff are all friendly, helpful and professional - eg a broken plug in the bathroom was replaced within minutes of the problem being... more

Stayed here for a birthday trip for my boyfriend and was impressed. It did feel luxurious to us and was a lovely place to stay. On his birthday they left champagne and a big chocolate cake in our room - so nice! The room was large and comfortable. The location required a metro trip for most areas but that is... more

This is a business hotel, perfect for meetings or large groups of tourists visiting Lisbon. Everything is really ok, nothing to say about service, cleanliness, location, breakfast. But if you're looking for a hotel with character or atmosphere, you must look elsewhere. Everything is standard, with a tentative to look like deluxe. Free cable Internet connection in rooms, good but... more

Thank you very much for your preference and for taking the time to write about your experience at Real Palácio Hotel. It is in fact quite disapointing for all the team to read your comments, because our job is just to make to any guest a memorable stay and we did not reach our goal. Our team is very proud...

Lisbon is a noisy city--there is a lot of traffic and drivers seem to believe that honking will make it move more quickly. We chose the Real Palacio for its quiet location and it did not disappoint. It is on a quiet street and the rooms facing the back are even quieter. You can walk into downtown--it is somewhat of... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Real Palacio, a lovely hotel with 147 rooms. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and attractive. The breakfast buffet (included in our rate) was extensive and fabulous..The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The location is very good--a short walk to the Gulbenkian Museum and to the Metro. We arrived early (9:00 AM), and... more

My first visit to the Real Palacio was in the summer of 2006, and for more than a year I stayed at the hotel for several periods due to my working situation. From the first day I felt welcome at the hotel. The staff were friendly and very service minded, always with a smile – and always professional. I have... more

The hotel is in a beautifully and tastefully renovated old mansion. The room was large, modern and confortable. The breakfast was up to the standards, except for the tea which was not warm enough. The inner courtyear is pleasnt There's a subway station in a walking distance. To sum up, one of the best options in Lisbon if you don't... more
