I would say this is primarily a business hotel located in a business & residential area. Reception, bar & restaurant areas are of a good 4 - 5 star standard, as indeed are the staff. Have just returned from a three night mini-break in Lisbon and found this hotel to be clean, welcoming and comfortable. Reception/concierge helpful e.g. loaned us an adaptor. As tea-drinking Brits we we did suffer withdrawal symptoms, as no tea making facilities in room but as it's supposedly 5 star they assume you'll order room service! Only gripes were 1.) A nice hotel with superb breakfast. An efficient and helpful concierge. Lots of taxis stop in front of the hotel, subway is nearby. Nothing much to see near the hotel (except the zoo?). A lot of business guests in the hotel, it is a popular place for conferences. MAybe that's why there are mostly news channels available, no "normal" tv... more
