We stayed in this hotel for five days. Rooms are of good standard, the breakfast substantial and the staff really helpful. It is a busy, tourist group hotel with parties from many countries only staying one or two nights so be prepared for lots of noise and people at breakfast. It is very well located within walking distance of most... More

The Mundial is a very busy and popular hotel. It is perfectly located in the old city with dozens of wonderful restaurants, attractions and shopping a short walk away. The famous #28 Tram goes right by the front doors. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The complimentary buffet breakfast is quite good. They have a spacious bar with entertainment some evenings.... We visited the Mundial for 4 nights toward the end of October 2014, each with a separate room on the 3rd floor, facing inside (wonderful for silence) and with heavy curtains (wonderful for light blocking). Guess who doesn't like noise and light when traveling? It was beyond perfect in this regard, with rooms close to elevator, large and with great... More

Before staying at this hotel I stayed one night at Browns central, a boutique stylish hotel. Probably because of that it was extremely disappointing to be at the Mundial. The lounge area is well decorated, fancy style. But the bedrooms are old fashion, specially the bathroom. The windows are all sealed so if you need fresh air, like me, you will... More

Spent one night here and had a very good experience. The room was quiet, comfortable and overlooked the square with a balcony too. The staff were all very helpful and the breakfast gave an excellent choice including gluten free. At 70€ for two people including breakfast it was a bargain. The car park is free and there's access from it... More

The Mundial is located right in the heart of Lisbon in one of the central squares and is clearly a main hotel for large group tours. The room wasn't a double bed as we booked but two singles separated by the night stand. The room was clean but a little run down. There was a new tv in the room... More

Location is excellent and overall this hotel was much better than most city centre hotels we have stayed in. Room was fine and it had a proper bath in the bathroom - oh joy! Lovely bathrobes. Easily controlled air conditioning and heating. Breakfast was also fine although the toaster in the top section could take up most of your holiday-... More

I enjoyed my staying in this hotel but not totally. It is an honest place: close to the center, prices are ok. Not too clean, not too fancy. I didn't like the breakfast - poor in vegetables and non gluten products. Coffee - bad! My surprises were on our last day when at 8,30 in the morning the cleaning lady... More

Centrally located, and clean hotel. Just a short walk away from trams, though these were crowded most times, and yellow bus started their tours just around the corner. Restaurants and shops nearby. Good variety at breakfast and we ate in the Jardim Restaurant in the evenings. Found the meals very tasty, with a wide choice on menu. In November, the... More
