The mundial is in a very good location. Hotel is nice for a budget hotel. Only downside was the bed in our room was very hard apart from that rooms are clean ok the breakfast is only continental no british breakfast here but a good choice of cold food. The roof bar is worth having a drink before you go... More

We asked our tour operator to book a 4 or 5* central hotel for a post cruise stay. This very large hotel is indeed centrally placed right by the bus and tram stops in M Moniz square. The double glazing does not stop the traffic noise. Rooms are adequately furnished, with all the usual things, bathroom very poorly lit with... More

This hotel was comfortable, with nice views of the surrounding hills and Martim Moniz square. The food was average, the staff personable, and the bar and roof restaurant areas inviting. My one quibble with the hotel was their Wifi setup. They had two separate systems. One worked only in the lobby and required a separate password. The other worked only... More

In March I went to Lisbon and stayed in Hotel Mundial. At arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, I hadn't really paid a lot of attention while booking, just a quick check on Tripadvisor. It was better then I expected. I had a nice room with two beds. It was a quiet room, with no view (only the... More

This large hotel may lack some personalty but offer an excellent stay centrally in Lisbon. Large rooms, good beds, gorgeous breakfast buffet. And a late evening drink at the roof bar offers a great view of Lisbon at night.

We didn't stay in this hotel but we visited the rooftop bar one night of our Lisbon stay. It was a 360 view of Lisbon and had a great view of the castle! The drinks were nice and reasonably priced. It got a little bit cold in the night and the bar staff gave out blankets which kept us warm.

We stayed here twice. The location is great to grab any of the public transit. The first time we stayed on the 8th floor and the rooms were really dated. The second time we stayed on the 7th floor which was much more modern (including the hallways). Roof Top Bar is a must for a drink in the evening!

I received confirmation for a double room which double occupancy rate I agreed to pay when I made my booking since June and, for 5 nights and 4 days. Imagine my ire when I was informed at checkin that they had given my room to a tour group, and that there was no other room available. My irritation rose when... More

First time in Lisbon . This was the perfect location. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very accommodating. They have the best roof top terrace to relax at the end of the day. The view is fantastic. When you get a room ask where the back elevator is. It is quicker and steps away from the one... More
