I was there for two nights. The Hotel is in a quite street, but still central. The Rooms are small and with could be in a bit better condition, but with wc and shower and clean. The Staff was friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for 3 nights, it was spotlessly clean, fair sized room and bathroom. It's a no frills place but very pleasant staff and a lovely smell of fresh laundry when you enter the apartments. I was in room 101 and it had a lovely view. It's very central. The only thing I would change is for the shower... More

Great location, just off the tree lined Avenida da Liberdade (nice, relaxed atmosphere despite being a busy road) which is the main thoroughfare that takes you to the lower and upper 'old town' (fifteen minutes walk). Building is an old, traditional tenement, with the Milanesa on the second floor. Comfortable beds and the rooms appear to have been refurbished recently.... More

Unfortunately, I must interrupt the long sequence of good reviews with this remark. We spent the night in beds infested by bedbugs. In the morning the surprise was not very appreciated by the two of us. In the morning everybody at the Residencial was very surprised with the discovery. They have told us that they have called for professional clearing,... More

Stayed there for 5 nights in October 2012. Close to city center, not more than 10 minutes walk. Small room but clean and everything in. Wi-fi signal was weak back then. Maybe something changed. Only let down is tinly walls that are not soundproof. Recomended.

Affordable and conveniently located. Very clean corner room with balcony, no AC. Very friendly staff. Be ready for four flies of stairs. Steps away from Ave. Liberdade and Barrio Alto. On the same sidewalk you can find restaurants (vegetarian, Hindu), a convenient store, a cozy wine place.

We stayed in Milanesa from February 19 till 24. The room on the second floor was not big but very clean. Sometimes at night we heard people on the street talking quit loudly. Service was good, English a bit poor but very friendly.

The room cost £35 for one night. Double bed, bathroom with smallest bath in the world. Very clean and with a small balcony that you could stand out on to watch the strange sights below. Located behind the most expensive street in Lisbon (according to the bus tour guide) it was very much a 'lived in' area and not somewhere... More
