Hotel is clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Bar closes at 1 a.m. - not a problem except New Year's Eve. Good location for Metro - use Campo Pequeno not Entrecampos Very noisy due to proximity to railway station. Don't stay here if a light sleeper. Staff were mostly helpful and polite. more

It's beyound description the noise one has to endure in this hotel. Trains, ambulance syrens, planes, the hotel machinery, door slamming and excessively sof beds make sure that you'll spent a sleepless night. Definitly to avoid, despite the average quality of decoration and services. more

We stayed in the Vip Zurique hotel one weekend in march and liked it a lot. The check-in was quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel sucks big time, i got there, the room that i reservered and paid was not avilable until the next day. The food sucks, the waiters are the worst that I ever seen. We spent 10 nights in the VIP Zurique and would definitely return. The staff were extremely helpful/friendly. The food was good quality and the service in the dining room was 5 star. The rooms were small but comfortable and the shower was fantastic! The shop within the hotel is very reasonably priced and has some lovely souvenirs and the women... more

The good things about this hotel are that it's near the train and metro stations and the bullring. The bad things is that the immediate area around the hotel is rundown and the entrance to the hotel is behind other buildings so a bit hard to find as well as a little uncomfortable walking there by yourself. Hotel Zurique is very much a buisness hotel (in fact, I was there on buisness.) The Bad: Bedbugs....ok, I know this is an increasing problem. But when I asked to change rooms because of the bedbug problem the staff aggreed, but was hardly appologetic or chagrined. Result, I got more bug bites in the second room!! Horrible....will be itching for... more

although the hotel chain sounds a bit cliche I found VIP's Hotel Zurique to be very good for the 51€ basic rate they offer online. The bads: near entrcampos 24hr trains (ask for a room facing reception), a bit hard to find, near abulance exit (but they dont sound siren till they get a few blocks away),no previous trip advisor... more
