I stayed here during a conference held at the ISCTE-IUL, which was a 10 minute walk away. The airport bus and two metro stations are within a 5 minute walk away. Pros Good breakfast service Friendly staff Free WiFi Free room safe Pool and sunlounger area Cons Thin walls Dated/worn bathroom fixtures Noise from air traffic (this did not bother... More

Do not even think of this "hotel". Smelly rooms - noisy room (417 with a humming noise on the behind) Cheap pillows (if you ever dare to call them pillows) Full of construction workers living there (breakfast full of boiler suits) 2 small elevators (lifts) always full up, so you have to wait a bit for your turn.

This hotel was awful. Compared to it's sister hotel in Oriente, it was in very poor shape. I don't think this room as been decorated or upgraded since the early 90's. The room had a stale smell to it. Air-con inadequate. There were cigarette burns on the wooden furniture, a threadbare carpet, cracked tiles in the bathroom and no plug... More

I'm spending around 60-80 nights a year in hotels all around Europe and this one managed to be remembered. Unfortunately not positively. I knew before it is a 3* this is why my expectations already have been low but I have 3 things, that are important to me: 1. Cleanliness: Failed! Room was not clean, slightly smelly, floor disgusting. 2.... More

We actually got "upgraded" to the VIP Zurique as our hotel "had a problem on the floor we were booked" code for: we overbooked. It is an outdated hotel with fixtures that need updating. But if they did that it would be a four star hotel and you would pay for it accordingly. It was not too bad, just not... More

The hotel is very basic. Interior outdated. Cleaning services are not excellent. Crumbs left by a previous occupant were still there after we departed. Positive is that when our TV would not work they assigned us another room within minutes. Breakfast variety okay – but most of the cooked dishes are rather oily. The hotel is frequented by tour groups.... More

The hotel is a bit worn out, but clean and everything functions. Considering the price, the place is nice. Metro station is 5 min walk away and you can easily get to down town. Walking to Gulbenkian museum is also easy. The pool area looks also a bit dated, but the pool itself is well maintained and the area OK.... More
