=== PROs === The hotel is placed in a central, yet quiet position. Several bus lines and a metro stop at the close by roundabout of Praça Marquês de Pombal, from which even relatively far away destinations can be reached. If you are willing to walk a bit, it is even possible to reach the most central areas of the... More

The Dom Carlos Park was an ideal place to stay for a short break in Lisbon. The rooms are a little dated but are spotlessly clean and a reasonable size. The beds are firm but comfortable. Breakfast is a self-service buffet which should suit all. The hotel is very close to the metro and only a 20 minutes walk from... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel in August 2014. We occupied 3 rooms for a few days. Unfortunately on the second day, while we were away, our suitcase was unlocked and the amount of 3000 dollars, 2000 euros were stolen from our locked suitcase. The event was reported to the police, the receptionist confirmed that only 2 persons... More

I have stayed for a week at Don Carlos Park. Hotel's staff are very nice and ready to help. My room was of good size with several drawers for storing clothes. I could walk to the center without feeling tired. To go back to hotel it is every ease and the underground has a stop very near the hotel. Breakfast... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Dom Carlos. We arrived at 12:30 PM from our trans-atlantic flight and were delighted that our room was ready. Yes-we also found rooms on the small size, however, very clean. Our beds were very firm-no problem for us, however, some might not enjoy. We loved the location only a 5 minutes walk from... More

The hotel is centrally located and, if you like to walk, is within 20 minutes of many tourist destinations. Desk staff were really helpful. Good restaurants nearby and metro right outside. Hotel is just off the Marques de Pombal circle but on a quiet street so street noise is not a problem.

Over the years I have stayed many times at Hotel Dom Carlos Park in Lisbon. And I have no major complaints. Its location, so near the monument of "Marquês de Pombal" and the "Eduardo VII" park, makes it ideal for first timers. All touristic buses leaving for sightseeings in or out of Lisbon depart from the square in front of... More

The room we got was incredibly small, with a view of a dirty wall (next building), quite old furniture and incredible noise coming from outside throughout the whole night. We could not figure out what it was, but it sounded like an extremely loud air-conditioning just outside the window (despite the fact that ours was off). You cannot open the... More

One of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in. Comfortable, clean and great location for metro or sightseeing buses, being only 5 minute walk. Receptionist Ana Paula made us feel very welcome and helped with booking trips and great restaurant ´`O Mastro´` which is just round the corner and served good portuguese food. Fish was amazing. Parking is... More

stayed in family room with ante room with sofa -cum-bed. Very comfortable with three adults as our daughter was travelling with us. No noise pollution . The hop on hop off buses were at walking distance. Our two days were utilised fully including the excursion. I had planned the tour online and was as promised.
