We stayed in a double bed room at the back of the hotel. We didn't notice street noise but the walls are quite thin. We didn't notice this untill 6am each morning when the man in the room next to us coughed badley for 30 minutes. Not too much of a problem though. Hotel was nicely decorated. There is free... more

We found this hotel through Trip Advisor so I was worried about the noise beforehand after reading the posts. We took ear plugs and requested and received a room in the back. So we didn't have any outside noise, but it was quite loud in the hallway. We were right across from the elevator and anytime anyone got off or... more

The hotel was surprisingly quite given it's convenient location on the eating lane. Our room was spacious enough with a huge bathroom. The window opened onto an air shaft and next time I would ask for a different room as several opened onto an internal courtyard with a better view. The staff could have been more welcoming but they answered... more

This was our worst hotel experience in our 3 weeks trip to Spain and Portugal. My mother and I stayed at the hotel on 9th May and 10th May . We arrived via night train from Madrid to Lisbon at 8am in the 9th May morning. The first person that greeted us at the hotel was a sour faced man.... more

A real find in the heart of the Restaurandores "Latin" area. Carlos Rodriguez of staff was incredibly helpful before and during the three-night stay. Likewise for Antonio and Mario while there. Another "Carlos" is the owner, and who was as gracious as you'd ever want. A lovely ground floor sitting area is complemented by a terrific included breakfast in a... more

We stayed at the Residencial (which is actually a hotel) for 4 nights. Our room and bathroom were large and spotlessly clean. The location, in a safe area, is excellent and the price very good for what you get. There's free breakfast included, which, after four days, started to become monotonous, but nevertheless, we were very glad it was provided.... more

I stayed at Residential Florescente for 4 nights in February 2009 in a single room. The room was clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance to the Chiado district (downtown). There are lots of restaurants near the hotel (though rather tourist-y) and you will never... more

When judging this hotel, remember it is an old building in the busiest part of Lisbon and I only paid €40 a night for single occupancy of a double room (breakfast included). The main points are that it is clean, well located and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I had requested a quiet room and was given one... more

Loved this hotel....great location, clean and friendly staff...at an unbeatable price. Our stay here was better than the much more expensive Hotel Colon (horrible service) in Barcelona. more
